What I would suggest, regardless how soft/blocked the upstairs jab was, I think it stunned Rosario enough to make him relax as the body shot, which wasn't a heavy shot either, to do maximum damage. You can see from the way Rosario fell back on his ass, his neck snapped back as he landed, he was clearly stunned with the head shot. On top of that seems the body shot then took the wind right out of him. No dive, Rosario maybe packing more glass than Amir Khan though.
Another point may be, Rosario may well have already been concussed. If that was the case, would explain why it didn't take much to have him falling over like that, but the body punch was simply a freak KO.

So: accumulation of punishment led to a concussion through the fight, which caused the glancing jab to be the straw which broke the camel's back, and that body shot was just a freak KO.

Thank you. Charlo has beaten the same level of competition as some of these P4P guys yet they are moving the goalposts to discredit his achievement. If Crawford can become P4P beating Indongo and Postol, Charlo can beating Harrison, Rosario, and the winner of Teixeira/Castano whenever that fight eventually happens.

        • I also thought it was a dive but heavy leather was thrown throughout the fight.

My thoughts and same when Hoya fought Hopkins, if you have the energy to make a scene you have the energy to get up.

Both Hoya and Rosario were already beaten prior to the body shot though.

          • People here still thinking Rosario actually took a dive even got his own countrymen turning on him when he fought hard and tried everybody who knew boxing knew that Charlo was going to be the more polished fighter he showed it that left hook he stunned him with the round before was solid like I said why didn't Rosario just stay down there and save himself the trouble nobody would've blamed him he went crashing right into the ropes when the round was over and almost fell off his stool when he went to the corner his corner should've stopped the fight right there but he was a champion and he went out on his shield end of story the majority of the people talking **** act like they are in the gym taking body shots like that themselves.

A very good possibility is he fractured a floating rib earlier in the fight and when Charlo landed that jab it snapped that **** hurts every breathe you take feels like someone is stabbing you in your side and it doesn't go away.

You get hurt to the body your initial physical reaction will be to bend your body down to try to alleviate the pain and you will more likely end up either face first on your knees or on your side. Both positions bending your body forward due to the pain.

I’m far from a conspiracy theorist but that looked terrible. And if it was a dive, I understand boxers aren’t actors, but that was a nonsensical dive. Dives do usually look ******, none of these guys are Sylvester Stallone or Michael B. Jordan but most dives look ridiculous, ****** and make no sense.

                  • Should be undefeated yet L turned Jermell into a different animal. 3 recent fights & their innovative stoppages remind me of Canelo Alvarez w/ his vast arsenal of weapons | knockout techniques

His body cramped up you could clearly tell from the way it was twitching not to mention the knockdown from previous round that probably concussed him, he couldn’t even make it back to his corner stumbling around just soften up even more
