He’s been training him since earlier this year but this is their first fight together.

Taylor split with McGuigan because of business problems with McGuigan’s promotion company, same as Carl Frampton had. Barry McGuigan apparently ripping off fighters. That’s why Taylor signed with top rank earlier this year and switched trainers

Yeah he was either going to train with Adam Booth or Ben Davison and went with Davison.

I thought Adam Booth might have been a good fit but maybe because he trains quite a few fighters already, so Taylor wanted someone more focused on just him.

I'm glad Davison is getting more guys since Fury left though. He seems like a genuinely nice guy who wants the best for his fighters.
