Where does this myth of Connor's "vaunted power" come from anyway? He landed a couple solid left hooks and right hands on Floyd and May walked right through them. Floyd carried that boy the whole fight. Thurman, DSG, Porter, even Mikey Garcia would END Connor within two rounds if they went in 100%.

Who said anything near "vaunted power" at no point did I say anything remotely similar.

Fair enough, bud. I respect your opinion. And I will say this...all professional fighters who share the ring must respect one another. Even a fighter in McGregor's case who isn't a boxer. But he is a fighter. And as we know in boxing (or in combat sports in general) all it takes is one big shot to change everything.

We both want to see Pac vs Crawford but it’s not happening anytime soon, Crawford just decided to fight Kell Brook instead. As long as he’s in Top Rank, I don’t believe Arum would let him fight the best welterweight fighters in the world. He needs to dump Arum before he gets too old, he’s almost 33 now and still never fought any ATG yet. What a waste! As far as McGregor is concerned, yes it may be garbage"boxingwise” but not “money wise”. Who would say no to that kind of money?

Fine with me. I'd like for Manny to retire at this point, since it would be a shame to see him end his career getting beaten by someone in their prime. This will be a circus fight that he will win and make a lot of money from, so no problem for me. Only issue I had with the Floyd fight with Conor was that it was for the 50-0 record, after he had just fought Berto for #49.

C'mon dude - Manny has been fighting the best in the world for 20 years - Won most, lost a few, but will go down as a top 20 ATG in the history of the sport. If he wants a golden parachute in a super high profile entertainment event, let him do his thing. At his age, and with his mileage, and with all he's given to the sport, I think he's earned it, no?

Floyd v Connor: Entertainment for astronomical money. Floyd had ceased to be a prizefighter and cashed in on public interest. I had absolutely zero problem with that.
Manny fought the best yeah - Morales 3x, Marquez 4x, Barrera, Oscar, a Massively oversized Margarito, Mosley, Floyd. Literally a who's who of this entire era. I'm surprised you look at Pac's resume and come to the conclusion that he didn't fight the best. Who did he miss???
