    Wilder vs Povetkin in 2016

Does Deontay get out of Russia with his belt intact if the fight happened.

I think Wilder would have used a similar game plan as the Stiverne fight, he wasn't as dependent on his right hand like he is now at the time

I think Povetkin would have stopped Wilder.

Neither was Eric Molina or Duhaupas. Wilder had wars with both.

I don't see it as being that simple, Wilder and Povetkin would both land.

I really dont know who would win. Wilder has a huge height/reach advantage but Povetkin is a massive step up from the guys Wilder was fighting up to 2016. Even now beating Povetkin would probably be Wilders best win, or at least on par with the Ortiz wins.

                Wilder KO.

                Povetkin has no defense.

Povetkin was, and still is, levels above Stiverne in just about every department. He is an Olympic gold medal winner with multiple KO wins over top 10 contenders and has only lost to world champions, Wlad and AJ.

Stiverne was KO'd by a journeyman before the first Wilder fight and his best wins are over a shot version of Chris Arreola.

I think he would have destroyed Wilder in 2016 and would probably still beat him today.
