For some reason, I get the feeling Usyk won't be fighting for much longer. A title shot and maybe a few big paydays and he's gonna walk away healthy to enjoy the rest of his life. Just a gut feeling no facts to back this up.
What absolute nonsense. HW is probably the strongest division in boxing right now. Usyk was the number 1 in a very, very weak CW division. In HW Usyk is around number 15. Chisora smokes him btw the way. Absolute beat down. No more of them CW bums to fight here.

I feel ya. I remember Fury saying it & showing it. Chisora is a heavy plodder, so he should be tailor-made for Usyk. Usyk ain't as tall or long as Fury(by my estimation) so I don't think he can pull it off completely like Fury without some tense moments. If he can find a gameplan to deal with Chisora coming forward consistently, his skills should pay the bills.

And Holyfield not faking an injury adds nothing to the discussion. Though now that you bring him up, he did have a heart problem that then disappeared when it suited him.
He has been been injured like 5/6 times in the last 16months.

So if he’s not faking it, then he’s must be juicing. Pick yer poison.

Yeah true, Fury’s reach was just way too much for Chisora to get close. At least Chisora can probably get closer to Usyk and maybe throw looping shots that he throws and get inside.

I definitely think Usyk will have too much good movement for him in the end and win comfortably but Chisora might have his moments.

I don`t know what are you talking about. Guys like Martin, Helenius, Chisora are all top 20, some of them maybe top 15. what strong division? Hw division is competitive, because nearly all guys are at the same average level. Usyk is elite boxer, he should take out somebody like Chisora.

I heard Chisora is quaking after Usyk destroyed Witherspoon in 7 rounds. It's hard to imagine anyone else in the top 20 managing that.

I agree HW is the strongest division and those who say its WW are stuck in the past, but the rest is crazy talk.

Look, Usyk was king of a crap division at CW but he passes the eye test in spades and was a quality amateur and has all the tools to succeed, assuming he can handle the power. For me anyway, the real test is, can he handle flush shots from real HWs, and can still be effective and fast with some added mass.

This is a big fight for me because Chisora is a real test, but I think anyone who expects for Usyk to be exposed for "stepping up" out of his weight class to be disappointed. His ceiling imo, is to match Holyfield's legacy.

This will be interesting. If Usyk looks great and destroys him that will shake up the division.

Which is good since things have gotten a lil stale imo

But I agree, it will shake things up and that's what we want. Keep the hype to a boiling point.
