mike tyson is awesome to listen too because hes knowledge of the sport is immense , has kevin rooney described him he was just a sponge soakiung in everything to do with boxing , and because hes experienced the highs and the lows of the buisiness he looks back on it and explains to all how not to go wrong and how to saty the right way
i think mike is a great guy and i love him 2 bits

you can tell from the interviews pre-holyfield that tyson is not just a bad ass but a smart one.

i see a lot of the tyson interviews and how he gets humbled after some of the recent fights. whether you liked him or not, or still believe he doesnt deserve the **** hes dealing with now or not, you have to admit he is getting humbled. its progressive.

Best interview ive ever seen with Tyson.
Every time i want to hate him, but then he says things that no fighter has ever said.

He can be more articulate than any athlete at times.

That interview was very good. The media tries distort things when it comes to him because they know how to push his buttons to get a response. The guy isn't a monster as some would have you believe but a pretty intelligent person & a great boxing mind. He's going to be a good commentator just because of what he's been through as a fighter & as a person. He's probably would be a good mentor to young fighters coming up.

Id say Tyson is very smart.
He has used the media as much as theyve used him.
He knows exactly what buttons to push in order to create drama and controversy.
He is probably the greatest self publicist of all time in any sport. Better than Ali IMO.

He knows when to switch on the 'mad animal' Tyson before fights, and can perform in front of the cameras better than any actor. (The Lewis pre fight conference riot for example).

He's always surprises me. I still dont like him for many reasons, but i give him credit.
