Santa Clara County where I used to live. The spike of cases during lockdown is caused by the infection spread immediately prior. The data shows sharp decline after the lockdown has been in effect for some time. Learn how to process information. Its like having a fever and taking a pill - it takes time for it to take effect during which your temperature may still be rising. And look at the spike when the lockdown was relaxed. Look at the total picture.
Santa Clara was among the first counties in the nation to lock down and they did it back in early March. Their numbers kept increasing even after months of being in lock down. My point is that locking down and wearing masks may look good on paper but in reality it has not stopped the spread. Governor Newsom has been telling us all along that shelter in place and wearing masks would stop the spread and it has not.

Then there is the fact that the virus is not that deadly to your average healthy person. The average age of death is above 65. The younger you are the less likely you are to die. This is of course as long as you do not have a previously underling condition.

SC has had a little over 20K cases and roughly 300 deaths. That is less than a 2% mortality rate. The Flu has a higher mortality rate than covid-19.

People are dying everyday in far greater numbers than some hyped up virus. The economy is in shambles because of the unnecessary lockdowns. There are plenty of states doing just fine that never locked downs. Do you not find it interesting that the states that are hardest hit are majority left leaning?

We locked down for months here in the bay area and yet the numbers have remained the same and actually went up while in lock down. What are we supposed to do? If people want to go to an event live let them go. If you are worried then you can stay home.
left leaning states are the ones with international and interstate travel, airports, coastlines, cities, etc. of course rural bum**** is going to fare better in many instances than international, hugely populated cities in a pandemic, that cannot be attributed entirely to politics.

so you tihnk locking down would have hurt the virus? do you guys think when you speak?

the jnations with objectively better outcomes were those who entered into a strict lockdown and who had a national health service and healthcare system that was capable of tracing and testing on a wide scale. the US had to go through a very loose network of hospitals, states, private and public businesses.

the world leans a hell of a lot more left than the US and they outperformed the hell out of you guys in regard to tackling the virus.

how many people died in korea? how did they react to the virus?

what you need to do is stop thinking for yourself and listen to science. if you can't read the journals, don't. trust your doctor, who will tell you to stay the f#ck inside, wear a mask, and social distance to the very best of your ability when you need to go out.

do better and stop being willfully ****ing ******

go ahead and go outside without your mask in december. get some idiots together in a poorly ventilated room and sing. and record it, because we all know you have huge balls and morals and you don't break them for anyone. we all believe you're as tough as you say you are!

i hope you don't live with your grandparents. they are toast if you do.

Is Florida left leaning? I am not attributing everything to politics. I am attributing the sustained lockdown to politics. There have ben numerous politicians who have said they would prefer the country go into a recession if it meant that President Trump would be removed from office.

This virus is not going away no matter what you do. Locking down 100% would not get rid of it either. Look at how many vaccines we have for the other numerous viruses and yet they still kill thousands each year.

What nations faired better than the US? South Korea is getting hit by another wave after they had it "under control". The nations that have faired best never went into lock down. Look at all the Scandinavian countries that never locked down. As far as testing goes. the US has tested far more than any other country. Testing is not the issue. Are you prepared to give up your freedom like South Koreans did? They had to be tracked 24/7 like they were a bunch of cattle. You may be fine with giving the government full reign on your life and let them control it but us Americans have what is called the constitution which prevents the government from total takeover.

What good is tracking the virus if you are still spreading it? What countries did better than the US and in what metric? Tracking is not a worthy metric if you are still spreading it.

Science? Doctors? Doctors used to say it was healthy to smoke cigarettes. You should not just trust a doctor for their word simply because they have a nifty title before their name. How many of these doctors just repeat what they are being told without actually doing the research themselves? Are all these doctors virologists? Are they experts in this field?

The journals say that covid deaths are inflated. Should we believe that too? If you die from cancer and you tested positive for C-19 after death, your death was ruled as a covid-19 death. Stop being a lemming.

What argument are you trying to counter? You sound like a ranting lunatic. Can you at least try to counter one thing I said in my post?

It's a straight choice of fighting for what... maybe 30% less money than usual?

Or don't fight for 100% less money than usual.

I want the orgs to start insisting that fights go ahead to maintain rankings and belts. We know it's prizefighting but there still has to be fights even if the prize is reduced.

People above mentioning the lower level fighters... they'll be retired soon the way things are going.

I get that but I'm talking about the top guys. The ones who can afford not to fight
