It's funny to hear Canelo fans defend this attempt to take the cheap route to a title and act like he didn't know it'd be Yidilgrim he'd have to face. Canelo never once mentioned facing benavidez when he was wbc champ, but the second that belt was vacant, he jumped on it knowing he'd be asked to face their #1 contender, who happened to be a guy that was wiped out by Eubank Jr. Canelo fans hate to admit the truth because they've spent yrs saying mayweather minimized risk, only to watch canelo minimize risk for the better part of the last 6 yrs by facing mostly 35 and over competition, C level opponents and implement catchweights /rehydration clauses.Comment

Lara,Trout, GGG, Jacobs the only real good wins. And we can add Kov.
The rest were washed up guys with names fights undermined from astericks.
Then take into account he arguably lost to Lara and GGG.Comment

"The case was conditionally rejected though with room for an amended filing with a September 28 deadline."
This is what I am most interested in. I could not care less about any purse bid date or whatever.
What is the current status of the law suit and how is it going to affect everything moving forward?
Also, this fight is a step above the Canelo V Rocky fight...........It should be a December fight and not a normal Canelo scheduled date.Comment

I try not to look at a record. I try to focus my attention on the quality of the fight and what the quality of the journey was.
What looks better, 62-7 or 59-10?Comment

And yet his resume is still second to only Pac-Man... right?Comment

I believe he said "resume" not "record". You can have a great resume and a not so great record. Look at Pac, great resume, not a great record, good but not great. Whether Canelo lost to Lara or Ggg is irrelevant when talking about his resume. He fought them both did he not? Both fights were close and good fights ya? If Canelo had lost either of them by the same margin he won, I think he would still be given credit for those fights.
