He tried to flex his muscle in court and got shut down in 2 days. Canelo has spent enough time avoiding top guys in their prime. And stop bringing up tragic situations in boxing to defend Canelo consistently minimizing risk. He still wants his 25 to 35 mil per fight while minimizing risk. Foh. FYI. Canelo is not an employee of the Zone. First, he has no contract with DAZN. His contract is with Golden Boy. It is Golden Boy that has a contract with DAZN. You got that the wrong way round. Canelo became "the face of boxing" to his idiot fans by robbing GGG twice and refusing to fight him a third time when DAZN wanted him to do it.

I don't think Canelo specifically asked for yildrim.

However, the situation is that, whoever fights for this title, they have to fight yildrim.

Dazn appear unwilling to meet canelos guarantee for anyone except Golovkin - who refuses to fight canelo next as he wants that easy payday for his own mandatory.

This is a good opportunity for promoters and fighters to just disregard these "sanctioning bodies" and make the fights that people will pay to see so they can earn the $$$ they want!

GGG was ready and willing to fight Canelo last year, but Canelo refused the fight then because, according to him, he didn't like Golovkin and didn't want to give him another payday. Apparently, seeing GGG go life and death with Derevyanchenko made Canelo like him a whole lot more.
