Without those illegal wraps, he's been getitng his azz beat ever since by top opposition. And when Manny faced Margacheato, he had already been broken by Mosley lol. Two horrible examples. A better one would be Jones moving up to face Toney in 94 or hopkins moving up to face Tarver.
Both Toney and Tarver were significantly drained though. Tarver had to drop 45lbs after shooting Rocky, and Toney blew up on vacation when the Jones fight got signed.

I'll say it again. This is NOT a 50/50 fight. It's not.

Stop looking at one guy's power. Because that's all Lopez has. Nagatani showed us that when you're an elusive boxer where you're forcing Lopez to move, throwing off his ability to measure and keeping him from planting for body shots, he's just another fighter.

Experience has to matter to you people. It simply must.
The bold: That's not all Lopez has. I have learned in boxing the best two punches against a southpaw are: Right hand and left hook. Those are Teo's two best punches, and he does them with power, as Top Rank shill Bradley mentioned in the last telecast.

Has nothing to do with weight. Of the two, I think Loma is the bigger guy, forget these mommy fantasy stories where Loma is a small bantamweight.

Some of his fans have no shame at all, parading around telling us he's this small guy. The guy fought as a lightweight in the amateurs. He's always been a true lightweight squeezing into these lower weights for advantage.

      Lopez KO.

I'm one of the guys who created the Loma is too small for 135 myth. That's when I was a HUGE fan and was defending some of his subpar performances. It's far from the truth tho.

Loma has no desire or motivation to challenge himself. The guy is quiet about the heights he can reach. He should fight all the names around him including welters like Crawford. The great ones did it.

        Loma isn't about that life.

This forum is full of deluded Lomachenko haters waiting for another guy they hope to stop Lomachenko. Next will probably be Haney. And Davis. And so on.

Thing is, Lopez is probably not even on Linares level.

Boxing needs Lopez to win. He brings drama, ****ey performances, and casuals. It would be much better from a marketing perspective to have Lopez as the main guy. Unfortunately, I can’t bet against Loma. It goes against all logic.

If Loma wins I truly believe it will be the ideal time for Davis to slide in. I still hold him as the only one that can beat Loma currently. Shakur maybe in another two years.

I'm more sold on him than Haney right now. Shakur is ready. He's too big for 130. He better move up.

who's healthier, stronger and more durable out of 2 on their weigh-ins, would this drained version of Lopez stand a chance go all 12 vs Loma, this is pretty much tells the division they should be at

Tarver was alwasy walking around in the 200s. I'm a huge tarver fan, but I knew Hopkins was gonna school him. Styles make fights. And I'm also a huge Toney fan, but it's no secret he could be troubled by movers. Nunn was also winning their fight until he got too comfortable(Something Nunn did a lot of in his career). If you come at Toney, he'll shoulder roll and counter you to death(Iran barkley and what he would have done to GGG if they were in the same era). If you move in and out, side to side, you can trouble him. That's why no one should have been shocked by what he did to Jirov. Because I also knew that Jirov was gonna be in Toney's chest all night and it's what Toney wanted. He didn't have to look for him.

I don't think Shakur has the punching power for 135. Haney and the top 135 would put a hurting on him with his punching power. He has the skill level, but he should take his time and grow into the divisions
