    Loma/Lopez: Lomachenko opens as a 3-to-1 favorite

    As well he should.

Only one of three possible outcomes.
    • Teofimo gets stopped by the ref
    • Teofimo quits or gets a towel thrown <-- Most likely
    • Blowout decision ala Wilder/Fury 2 (before the stoppage) or Spence/Mikey

I'll say it again. This is NOT a 50/50 fight. It's not.

Stop looking at one guy's power. Because that's all Lopez has. Nagatani showed us that when you're an elusive boxer where you're forcing Lopez to move, throwing off his ability to measure and keeping him from planting for body shots, he's just another fighter.

Experience has to matter to you people. It simply must.

I got Loma in this fight, he should win easy, power isn't enough to beat a guy of Loma's caliber.

Hoping the odds go down, because people think Lopez has a chance, which he doesn't.

Good money to be made on a Teo KO, can’t wait to collect dough and salty tears from Loma’s fanboys!

If Loma couldn't blow out Linares/Pedraza/Campbell (all 3 were somewhat competitive except the Pedraza fight)

What makes you think Lopez-Loma won't be as good if not better then those? You're telling me Linares is better then Lopez? That fight was pretty much 50-50.

Yes, Linares is better than Lopez. So is Pedrazza and Campbell.

I mean, the 'eye test" support for Lopez is through the roof. I don't get it.

Rexy, did most of NSB skip the Nagatani fight?

Is that what's causing so much denial around here?

well he should open as the favorite. Lomachenko is the more accomplished fighter in his prime. What betting site in their right mind would make Lopez the favorite? lol. As for Pedraza being better than Lopez? NO. That's absurd. The reason why this fight will be competitive is that Loma is not a natural lw, and neither is Lopez. He probably walks around at 165. So we're seeing a smaller guy with great skils vs a bigger guy with power and good skills. That's why this fight is somewhat even. I'll keep using the example of Pryor vs Arguello. Arguello was the far superior boxer, but he just couldn't keep Pryor off of him. This fight is gonna end 1 of 2 ways. Lomachenko getting brutally stopped or him beating Lopez 10-2, 9-3. There is no other way really. For Lomachenko to stop Lopez, he's gonna have to sit on his punches and get that respect He just doesn't have that type of pop at 135, so if he goes for a ko, he's gonna get himself hurt. The best way for him to win this is to use an amateur style and hope Lopez tires out. It's not gonna work fighting Lopez the same way he fought Rigo, Linares, Campbell, and especialy pedraza. And the same for Lopez, he can't sit and wait for one shot hoping to land one punch cuz he's gonna get shut out 12-0

They must have read that he KO'd Diego Magdaleno and thought it was Jesse? I don't get it lol. His KO on Menard was impressive looking when you don't take into account Menard is a journymen who had been KO'd by Haney and Beltran. Other than Commey every one of his opponents were hand picked to make him look good, and he still managed to get dropped by a journeyman in his first fight...

Welp, what we do know is, neither Mosley nor Manny was nearly as big as Margacheato and Floyd wasn't nearly as big as Carnelo.

                  We saw what happened.

And at the same time, Floyd didn't fight the same fight as Khan(who i had winning easily against Canelo before the knockout, but somehow the judges didn't). Khan was too fast and dictating the pace. Only when he became brave and stopped moving as much, the fight ended, and almost ended his life. Margarito was slow as molasses and a cheat. Without those illegal wraps, he's been getitng his azz beat ever since by top opposition. And when Manny faced Margacheato, he had already been broken by Mosley lol. Two horrible examples. A better one would be Jones moving up to face Toney in 94 or hopkins moving up to face Tarver.
