I was surprised in the 12th round when Al Bernstein and the rest of the crew were baffled as to why Gausha was retreating and Lubin was attacking....They didn't seem to notice that Gausha got hurt before that sequence!....Did everyone not see when Lubin hurt Gausha well before chasing him across the ring, only to hurt him again when he got him in the corner??? The Showtime crew seemed to only notice the big punch that Lubin threw in the corner, which hurt Gausha for a second time.

My thoughts on this fight:
1) I like Lubin but that chin is suspect. I just don't see him beating the the elite of the division.
2) since Gausha has turned pro, I've seen his fights and I don't really want to see him fight anymore. He can continue his career but his timidity in the ring makes it painful to watch.
Overall, very disappointed with the card. Boots is legit and he steamrolled Abreu, the Tug fight wasn't all that entertaining and the main event was hard to watch.

For years 8m always the guy who defends fighters and "boring" fights but these guys just didn't show hunger and it was kinda boring. I've been raiting Lubin since that loss but he lacked that hunger and seemed to get stunned against a guy whose not a puncher so I'm kinda lost. Wasn't a high level chess match just 2 guys unwilling to let there hands go until the end of the fight.
