  • Gausha had some moments, I would have loved to seen him do a little more work. Lubin fought well though. Still not sure if could beat Charlo in a rematch.

Well, then he needs that type of fight. Lubin hardly loses any rounds. But he's now a bit cautious himself with Cunningham. At first he was more aggressive but he needs a mixture of that. If Charlo doesn't stop him, then I think Lubin will win majority of the rounds.

The judge who had it 115-113 is an idiot. Gausha won 2-3 rounds, MAYBE 4 if you want to be nice.

Lubin needs to face someone like Harrison before he gets back in with Charlo or even Rosario.
Yeah, I scored it like Schreck, only giving 10 and 11 to Gausha. It's kind of an unknown...tonight didn't instill a ton of confidence re: a Charlo rematch, but the four previous outings did. All said I wouldn't be in a rush to get right back in with Jermell straight off of this.

Gausha caught Lubin with a punch he didn't see coming.I don't think he has a glass chin

I disagree respectfully. Charlo will come into that fight thinking he has his number and Lubin will come in timid. That will make all the difference. I think the 1st round KO by Charlo ruined Lubins extraordinary aura. Now his whole fight game is all about holding himself back aka not getting knocked out. Charlo can’t say the same.

              • Some fights are high speed chess, this was slow speed tag.

Lubin will have to be better than he was today no doubt. And he may be timid, but Charlo tends to get wild and overly aggressive with his new style. It's actually opposite of how both fighters started. Lubin is much more controlled now, while Charlo is out there looking for a KO. But Lubin to me will be able to win the rounds where it is a chess match. He's a little sharper and has better skills. Charlo has a better chin and is more explosive. He can definitely get Lubin out of there again, but just saying if he doesn't, then I see Lubin winning the majority of the rounds. Harrison was out boxing and out fighting Charlo in spots of the rematch.

But before Lubin thinks about fighting Charlo, he needs to be in with someone like Harrison who is very skilled and will come to win unlike Gausha.
