Nah, I like both. I said it would be close. I knew you'd gobble down on Lopez's c o c k because he's from Mexico too and you did. Nothing ever changes. Haha.

Yes near PERFECTION that word was used a lot by analyst like Ferdie Pacheco, Bobby cyz and fighters of the time when discussing Lopez but I doubt you will know anything about that but that doesn’t mean he never got hit it’s a damn fight wtf do you expect this isn’t a video game champ.

And the only ****kk guzzling here is by guys like you with your weird obsession for overrated euro level fighters.

The bigger the fighter, the bigger the danger. All things being equal, I go with the guy who fights men.

Yeah, I remember watching Pacheco and Czyz (the DUI champ) and Steve Albert (That hair! haha). I liked the old showtime boxing.

Ah, you said perfection and got deflated. It's best not to use that word. No one can live up to it. I was a big Lopez fan back then and a big Trinidad fan as well. And hell, JCC Sr fought on Showtime. They had it going on!

            Lopez easily.
I agree with this except for the easy part. I think Lopez was the better fighter but Joe was very good and I don't think anybody was better than him by a large amount. He did fight everyone there was to fight at 168 and clearly won every fight. It is hard to get a whole lot better than that plus he beat old but still good Jones and Hopkins in America.

Man, I know! No one stacked cards like Don.

                  The Rematches- May 7, 1994-

Julio Cesar Chavez, Sr. Vs. Frankie Randall II
Terry Norris vs Simon Brown II
Azumah Nelson vs Jesse James Leija II
Gerald McClellan vs Julian Jackson II

                  Epic!

And of course, Ricardo Lopez vs Kermin Guardia....

Both had some good names on their ledgers but not a lot.

So who had the better career?

For me, it's very close but I give an edge to Calzaghe for the Kessler fight. I think that was a bit taller order than Lopez' unification fights with Alvarez, one of which many thought he lost and Calzaghe only needed one fight to convincingly beat Kessler. But it's very close and a vote for Lopez is very reasonable.

                    What do you guys think?
                    - -That U fergot Eubank, Roy, and Popkins.

Those 4 alone trump Lopez entire career.

Yeah. I just knew the argument would be that he fought older versions. Of course, Hopkins went on to beat Pavlik, Pascal, Cloud and Shumenov but whaever. He was a washed up bum when JoeCal fought him. Haha.
