Never seen a fighter more disrespected than Wilder has been, closest was AJ when he was told to retire rather than fight Ruiz again!

Like I said, the circumstances have changed. They struck a deal with Team Fury and Whyte getting KTFO by Povetkin means that Fury has no mando obligations now. It's possible that Hearn was also hoping that maybe Usyk would change his mind about stepping aside.Comment

No way would Tyson have got a 50/50 deal from AJ if he didn't have the WBC title.Comment

How are people still confused about Hearn 'contradicting' himself over AJ, Whyte, and Usyk?
It's his job to push multiple angles and multiple fighters.
You can fully intend to make many fights... knowing full well that not all will eventuate.
The alternative is to say 'well I don't know what will happen, so I just won't promote anything' in case a bunch of blokes on a boxing forum think I'm misleading anyone.
If you were looking for work, would you apply for multiple jobs or just apply for one at a time? Same thing. That's not a contradiction, it's a reasonable approach.Comment
