I don't disagree with what you're saying about money etc. I'm just pointing out what both Joshua and his promoter - who also.promites Usyk - appear to be contradicting themselves. Nothing knew there either though.

Like I said, the circumstances have changed. They struck a deal with Team Fury and Whyte getting KTFO by Povetkin means that Fury has no mando obligations now. It's possible that Hearn was also hoping that maybe Usyk would change his mind about stepping aside.
