Jacobs had a really hard time making 160 in recent years, gasps for air in Q&A

I noticed during the sit down interviews, Mannix asks him if he had any trouble making weight.....Jacobs says no... though I'm sure Mannix was asking because Danny looked anorexic and had a hard time speaking as if he had asthma. He was really weight deprived fight week. Sounds like he was going to pass out

I'm 6'1" and thicker build than Jacobs.

I've been as low as 154 on a cut before, and that was a regular morning weight, not the result of extreme measures.

If he was weighing in at 160 that means his stable weight would have been probably 168 ish and then he dehydrated down.

Basically what I'm saying is I don't think it should be that huge of a struggle for him tbh.

      Everyone's bodies are different.

Plus we're talking about a top level athlete here, I don't think you can make that comparison when his camp has his body primed for fighting for 12 rounds, but suddenly out of no where it has next to no hydration/calories/nutrition.

I'm just saying I've seen way bigger guys than him such as mikkel kessler (a big man) make 168 regularly then he turned up at 173 for the canelo fight.

Having seen both in person I can tell you, Kessler is a lot bigger man than Jacobs

I think Jacobs is lazy and undisciplined and that's why he's struggles to make weight, he's certainly not too big for 168 or even 160 IMHO.

LOL LDBC Slayer pretending a weigh in...

The bold is the context and circumstance that matter. Butt Stuff knows the science. Everything is calibrated from pre-camp, camp, fight week. There's a reason why Jacobs chose the Morning skip and chose to pay the fine.

Besides, look what Jacobs says here.

Maybe you didn't hear what Butt Stuff said below. Besides what is this ''in person'' and when, and were they stripped or had clothes on?... lol

It all depends on how much you are trying to squeeze down. Jacobs wants to come into the ring at 180. So he’s dehydrating and killing himself more than if he were to just legitimately sacrifice some muscle aswell as water/fat. That’s the difference.

A lot of these guy’s are trying to come in as big as possible.

Unless he has adimantium bones there's no way he should be heavier than kessler

He's 168 now though. He is in his prime now and personally I believe his prime weight is 175 lbs.
