Also when it comes to Indian people it’s a different thing. I grew up with a lot of British Indian kids and their parents always put so much pressure on them getting a great education and real career that playing sport, especially boxing as a career was basically not going to happen. Same as most of the Chinese kids I knew. That’s why despite having a lot of Indian people we don’t have many Indian footballers at all. Although the families sometimes don’t mind them pursuing cricket..
Every single elite Yemeni boxer was inspired by Prince Naseem. Its as simple as that. Heres an article:

Hamed was an inspiration for a number of future combat sport world champions from Britain and Ireland,[28] including British boxers such as Amir Khan,[29] James DeGale,[30] Kell Brook,[31] and Tyson Fury,[32] as well as Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor.[33] Hamed also inspired top-ranked fighters such as Irish boxer Michael Conlan, and British boxing trainers who have trained world champions, such as Javan Steward, who trained Fury, and Ben Davison, who trained Fury, Josh Taylor and Billy Joe Saunders.[28]

The real fact of this matter is that they are ALL UK fighters.

All this 'heritage' stuff is total and complete BS.

There have been plenty of elite white UK fighters. Why make this about race when it clearly isn't to do with it? It's to do with cultural and socioeconomic background most of the time.

Also the ratio of Yemeni boxers that are proffesional per capita is tiny and compared to other demographics. Yet 3 world Champions.

Naseem Hamed- HOF’er and arguably the most talented fighter ever from the UK.

Kal Yafai- Was Britain's longest-reigning world champion.

Kid Galahad- The real IBF featherweight champion. Was robbed against Josh Warrington. Great fighter. Elite at Featherweight

+ Kal Yafai two other brothers. One is going to represent the UK in the olympics.

Being from the USA. I wonder why there have been no notable Yemeni-American boxer? I mean our Yemeni community is much larger.
I don't want to piss on your parade or discredit UK Yemeni boxers, but Kid Galahad has never been a world champion and Kal Yafai was not Britain's longest reigning world champ.

Nobody is saying that they are not UK fighters, but there is a difference between nationality and ethnicity/heritage.

Kid Galahad was robbed against Josh Warrington. So he is actually the real IBF champ at featherweight. And yes Kal Yafai was Britain's longest reigning world champ.

Kid Galahad was not robbed against Josh Warrington, and you are playing sementic games with your claim about Kal Yafai. He may have been holding a world title longer than any other currently reigning British champion at the time that article was written, but he wasn't Britain's longest reigning world champion.

Watch the Highlights you idiot and tell me he was not robbed. Majority of the people know that Warrington lost the fight. Your invalid opinion wont change anything. When did I say all time reigning champion. He was Britains longest reigning world champion. Cant you read?
