If he wants to fight at age 50, he didn't treat his depression properly.

Respect. Hopefully he can be a bit more realistic with his goals at age 50. I doubt any commission is going to be sanctioning fights for him, so like many others have posted, I wish him the best in finding satisfaction outside of him entering a boxing ring in 2020 and beyond.I agree with everything you said.
Personally I could’ve done without the complaining though.
That Byrd fought at HW, became champ made a great career for himself I’m proud of Byrd, huge fan and well documented here.
Even though Byrd cost me thousands in a 6-1 payout when they robbed Fres Oquendo!
Huge fan of Byrd. I could do without the admission of depression and battles with mental health.
That’s a given, like you said for any warrior. Byrd is 100% true warrior. Completely agree.Comment

I guess its hard to go back to a normal life after having been on top.It seems everyone who makes more money than we'll ever see, and spends their life doing their passion for a living instead of a crappy nine to five is drowning in depression and misery. Add to that a supportive wife and kids who do their best to get you through it, and it's the seventh circle of hell, apparently..Comment

Foreman had incredible toughness and power on his side. Byrd has no power and has been battered more than a few times. If he is going to do this then do it slowly and ramp up towards maybe one serious fight against someone who can’t Ibeabuchi you.Comment
