So looks like both sides are trying to show Canelo it was the other side that is at fault here. Canelo not seeing the DAZN deal is bat sh^t crazy considering GBP got the deal off his back.

This doesn’t make sense doe. DAZN is trying to save face with Canelo. DAZN marketing, Blavatnik, all knew about the campaign for “biggest sports deal,” “365 million with DAZN,” “DAZN signs biggest deal.”

DAZN backed GBP because they were aware of the investment into the GBP portfolio. DAZN is doing damage control because DAZN USA has been marketing Canelo full stop.

DAZN knew about the Mexican Holidays throughout a span of 11 fights. DAZN knew GBP had the Hispanic American market in Dollar (before going Global). DAZN knew Ryan Garcia undercards under Canelo.

The cheapos here are DAZN.

They think about current losses and not about future earnings. Unless Covid is scientifically here and will stall life for the next 3-4 years then they’d have something.. but now.. they recently bought rights within The German league for $4bil and still want to go Global...

Why should Golden Boy have to show Canelo a contract that doesn't pertain to him? They have a promotional pact with Canelo, he's not part of ownership. They've already stated they never promised DAZN a Canelo Vs GGG fight.

Golden Boy has assets outside of Canelo. They're in the business of building stars. Vergil Ortiz and Ryan Garcia have a higher ceiling than Canelo due to being able to speak English.

DAZN loses a ton of talent if they lose GB. They're the bums here refusing to honor their end of the deal. Honor the contract DAZN! Stop being bums.

This definitely is good news for DAZN, if accurate.

But, I read the complaint Canelo's lawyers filed (posted it in one of my threads too).

In the complaint, Canelo allegedly asked DAZN prior to see the contract they had with GBP and according to the lawsuit DAZN did not comply.

I don't know what difference this will make but it seems to me that DAZN would have let him see it back then if there was no problem.

But, we'll see...

Canelo’s Team wouldn’t have cared about the contract between GBP and DAZN. Canelo signed with GBP for his guarantees. Canelo has always been given his dates throughout the years. Canelo has the right to be skeptic at both parties, but technically the official and formal filing means Canelo MUST go against GBP in order to get to DAZN. That’s unfortunately the chain.

I still give some benefit of doubt that GBP as a whole has planned this by his legal consultation. GBp is using itself. There’s even a small chance that Canelo’s legal have conspired a plan with GBP’s legal in nothing more to play hardball with various possibilities against DAZN.

Matchroom are really suspect in all of this. Damn where’s Hauser’s lazy ass
