Would Floyd also agree to a 30% cut like Canelo, during a Pandemic, no audience?

    This. Just way different circumstances.

Correction: they all got career high paydays to play soft with the fake fraud floyd franchise. think hired patsies. phloyd is ducking the pac rematch for five years now because they can't rig it and they know that shoulder is healed now.

He’d probably sit out until fans were back as he can afford to.
He made a lot of his money on the live gate, merch and other in arena things.

He made most his money from PPV sales, wouldn’t be any change to his purse.

This is because Floyd can sell a card on his own where Canelo, even with a bigger named fighter, isn’t moving the needle the same.

Of course anyone on this board with an ounce of common sense realizes a successful businessman with 2 degrees from Harvard is probably going to do a better job than a coke fiend cross dresser when putting together a deal.

Canelo did 2.2 million PPV at 23 years old. How old was Floyd when he used Oscar for PPV stardom? Lineage wise, you can’t say Canelo isn’t Floyd by the current standard. Canelo hasn’t used a Bantamweight moving up weights to make a super fight ala PAC. Canelo also isn’t interested in crossover fights in Masvidal and Khabib as Floyd did with #50.

So therefore, keep it simple. Would Floyd acknowledge a 30% cut from any revenue type during a Pandemic? Whatever the theory or answer is for Floyd... Canelo is currently showing his position, and everyone knows he acknowledged to take a 30% cut, DAZN wants 50%.

Theres a few fighters that come to mind that WOULDNT take cuts like this and split or sit.

Floyd is def one and seeing as he was the biggest cash cow since fighting dlh he has a point.

The other two that come to mind are ward and cotto. Those guys never budged on anything, to the point where it was frustrating

That’s an honest answer I could respect. But what if he didn’t and it’s all about principle that 30% is fair. Doesn’t Canelo deserve the respect?
