Well sure, if Spence is damaged good then this is a moot point. But just saying, these two would do crazy business. GGG when he was a headliner on PPV was doing half the numbers Spence is doing and we saw how many buys Canelo/GGG did for both fights.

Canelo vs Charlo would be good to, but what has Charlo shown thus far that screams star? His gate numbers and TV ratings are nothing special.

I think Canelo is legally bound by contract to fight only for DAZN so he can't fight for anyone else until his lawsuit is over and these type of disputes usually take a long time to settle. The fight with Yildrim will probably have to go to someone else. Forget about Spence fighting Canelo. Canelo cannot comfortably make 160 and will fight only at 168 from now on. Spence is not going to give Canelo a 21 pound weight advantage. One thing is certain in my opinion. If Canelo fights for someone else he will take a huge paycut. what they fail to understand is that under the watch of **** and haymon golden boy promotion was thriving...was doing very well...oscar couldnt see the future...the new model for doing business that the fighters actually liked.....he saw there were no iron clad contracts binding als fighters to his company and had a panic attack because he only understood the old way

You are likely right that Canelo never fights at MW again and Spence never fights at SMW, but no one knows about his jaw/chin. Only time will tell if he is damaged goods or not. Spence is saying the right things right now but he hasn't even started sparring yet.

I don't quite understand. None of your post negates any of mine. Am I to infer that you agree with Schaefer 's attempt to steal Oscar's company behind his back, culminating in the offer of 5 mill. for what was left. ??? Not logical, your post is well written and points well made, but the lack of morality (Schaefer's) and the suddenly discovered, almost completed attempt by Schaefer to steal Golden Balls from under Oscar's feet, and yes, half-closed-eyes, seems to be almost praiseworthy....??

My recollection of that event is that everyone in boxing and on this site, condemned Schaefer, and Oscar got a share of it too for allowing himself to take his eyes off business to his pwn pleasures and negative behaviour.

But the fact remains, Schaefer tried to steal..yes, steal Golden Balls from it's owner by underhanded crooked moves, that could only have come from the mind of a crooked banker,-or top Mafia consortium. He was keeping the company running-with one hand- whilst holding the knife to stab Oscar in th back , with the other.
