Manny did exactly the same thing. He fought once at 135 against David Diaz and at 140 against Hatton and a dubious belt at 154 on a catchweight deal with Margarito who had been destroyed by Mosley less than a year prior

I believe he did that at lower weights too but I do not like to talk about Manny in fear of his groupies coming out and raging like wild locusts. Some people cannot handle the truth.

I also don't know where you guys get this "not always entertaining for the fans" stuff at. I think if there's no KO, there's nothing that compares to a knockdown. To me, it's the most important entertainment available in a fight without a stoppage. It creates a shockwave that makes you stop your conversation and focus on what just played out! Mikey dropped Vargas, Easter, Lipinets, Dejan. He only failed to get a knockdown at least, against broner and Spence (who mopped the floor with him). I'm not sure what else you guys want for entertainment value.

So how long before we only live in his past of what he has accomplished before we agree that he is no longer exciting? Dropping lower weight guys is not a great feat when you cannot do it at the higher levels.

"not always entertaining" is referring mostly to Mikey being inactive for a while coming back to fight mediocre opponents grab a belt leave the division, come back leave again, then move up for the money fights where he is clearly out of his league and has yet to prove he can hang with the top 75%. I want to see fights where each fighter is tested and has to adjust and overcome obstacles. I do not want to see mismatched fights.

You mentioned he's not exciting. So I turned to his resume. What else should I do? Lie and make stuff up?! The man lost ONE fight against the elite, came back and won a decent fight. And here we are. So say he fights Pac next, and wins. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT A MAN TO DO?!?! It's as if you guys want/ expect fighters to fight Loma, Lopez, move up fight Taylor, Ramirez, move up fight DannyG, Porter, Pac, and Spence, and if they don't, YOU GIVE THEM NO CREDIT!
