Should GGG sue DAZN for breach of contract?

IMO, he should. He was promised in writing that he would get Canelo, but looks like DAZN will not hold up their end of the contract.

Now, do i believe he would sue? I don’t think so because GGG is content in fighting c-level fighters.

    Thoughts?

He probably has a better case than Canelo does

If DAZN refuse to pay GGG what he wants for Szeremeta he probably will.

Is GGG getting his full contracted purse for that fight?

Yes. He's the one that set this all in motion last year when he sent DAZN a letter telling them if he doesn't get the Canelo fight he wants a title shot and that's how GGG ended up snatching Derveychenco from Canelo. Dervy took less money on paper to fight GGG than he wouldve fighting Canelo.

When the smoke clears you all will see how DAZN, Oscar, and Eddie sabotaged Canelo.

Yes, he was being stifled at DAZN and with Golden Boy. He was being held back. He made a good career move. Now he is free to fight the type of fights that he wants to fight. Hopefully, he signs at least one fight with the PBC to challenge Jermall Charlo.

What's your source of knowledge stating that he was "guaranteed a Nelo fight"?

MCC seems like when the smoke clears we are gonna hear from more than just G and Nelo. TBD

Here's one right here. This was written back in August of 2019. Everything has fallen into place since then. Including GGG snatching Dervy from Canelo. That fight was announced in late August.

Canelo told Oscar during negotiations last year not to promise DAZN a third fight with Golovkin -- not because Canelo feared the fight but because he felt he won the second in straightforward fashion and he sincerely disliked the idea of helping out Golovkin financially (that antipathy is real).

Yet Oscar promised DAZN a third Canelo-GGG go-round anyway -- which has hurt a bunch of people: It led to DAZN signing GGG by guaranteeing him a shot at Canelo they cannot deliver presently. DAZN is in breach of the GGG contract as as result.

And GGG's lawyers have now sent DAZN a letter about the violation, demanding a title fight, so their guy has a belt to dangle before Canelo in 2020.
Canelo Alvarez is unhappy with his promotional outfit and its semi-leader/figurehead, Oscar De La Hoya. That much you can read anywhere. But here are some reasons -- all of which I shared with Golden...

My thoughts are you are a ****** lying Canelo loving, GGG hating jack ass trying to be clever. GGG just fought a fight of the year type fight with Dervy to win the IBF world title. The same Dervy Canelo blatantly ducked and gave up his IBF title to avoid the fight. GGG would love to fight Canelo a third time but Canelo wants no part of it even after telling GGG to win a title and he would fight him. GGG isn't suing anybody. He is content to be the IBF middleweight champion and live up to the terms of his contract. His next fight is with the young undefeated number 1 challenger who is a good fighter. Your hero Canelo is the guy suing everybody including Oscar so he can cherry pick his own fights and avoid good fights than fans want to see. I will enjoy watching GGG fighting good fighters twice a year. You can enjoy Canelo the king of the court room being out of action for another year or two.
