Apparently DANZ is on the hook. Looks like they were waiting for things to get better so they can make ends meet when it comes to a Canelo fight. Now they have lined themselves up to loose more. This lawsuit might bankrupt them.

Hopefully he does pull a Mayweather and starts to promote himself and fight who he wants. I have doubted him recently in the last few years but if he can get away from GBP and DAZN and start fighting who the fans want to see him fight then he will have regained some stock.

no, hes claiming that they may have made verbal initial offers for alternatives at lower prices but neglected to even give him real official in writing offers at all this entire year.

It will be a confidential settlement before too long. After everyone gets over it, you know there feelings ego's and all that. I think it was mutual the whole build up to letting make the lawsuit. DAZN gets out of the money trap, the bad press and so on. Eddie never wanted or cared to stay in the USA for too long it was just the hopes of the quick money grab and Advertisment hit is all. Courts are an ugly place to be in, they are no fun. Lawyers make money and no one gets the fair deal but the lawyers they always get paid. Instead of who has the best fight skills, that killer instinct well that gets turned over to the lawyers. Ugly Ugly and about as fair as paying for DAZN during a pandemic.

Uh oh. Well there goes at least a third of DAZN's scripts. A blind man could've smelled this a mile away. They were trying to put Nelo in with an a$$ beater, like Andrade or Jermall. I like that his counselor asked that he be able to fight outside of GBP while in litigation. Smart move bc Nelo can get across the street and get a good challenge, namely Caleb Plant.

Hating Canelo and others is a lucrative cottage industry. I see entire videos on Youtube spewing hate and vitriol on Cane These folks get money based on the number of followers they have. Each of these haters ought to thank Canelo and the other people they hate every time they cash those paychecks. As they say in certain quarters, "He is good for business." In your case, here I am responding to your post, so it is obvious neither of us are indifferent about him. a
This is not the kind of attention one wants but if you want to spin it and say its "generating " interests go ahead.
Big businesses might as well get caught in big scandals or lawsuits all the time to "generate interests".
Today's been a good day. Now we won't hear from Canelo for a long time and hopefully he takes those fans with him.
Truth is, no one outside boxing cares for Canelo or this but that's proven by people here blatantly lying and pretending it is.
Feel free to look up every sports website and not see Canelo on the front page. Some interest Canelo generates eh?

Canelo is either cashing out or playing chicken
In every scenario Canelo fighting competitive fights will end with the law suit. There is no other way this plays out. If this breaks up the relationship the myth of Canelo ends with it.
Canelo may fight Charlo in a one off deal and then takes beatings from bigger, stronger guys not named Fielding.
DAZN will freeze him out and ESPN is in no position to sign Canelo.

Paid Canelo for his brand but his brand is only as strong as the competition he faces. Paid for his presence when they should have paid for the matches. Now they want to take control after the fact.
All is happening just as predicted. Anyone who continues to invest in DAZN is a fool looking to part ways with there money.
Model in the uk), talking about his billion dollar chest, and the....dum dum dum dum!!! “American takeover!” Lol....and the spotty face amateurs at dazn just ate it up. I hope blavatnik fires them all for losing hundreds of millions of dollars on dazn USA
