Did you know Daniel Jacobs used the regular belt to make the WBA force Golovkin their super champ to fight him?
Canelo wasn't stripped he vacated his IBF Title rather than go to a purse bid with Deryevanchenko's team. In almost every situation the sanctioning bodies will allow a fighter to bypass a mandatory in favor of unification with the understanding that the winner will face the mandatory in their next fight. Also when a WBA super champion is present in a weight division the Regular title becomes the mandatory spot Golovkin had to fight Jacobs or he would be stripped. Everyone knew that.

Canelo Alvarez was stripped of his IBF 160-pound title after negotiations for one of his mandatory defenses against Sergiy Derevyanchenko ended with no deal.

      Wrong.

Thurman or Jaron Ennis ,, Ennis is on the PBC card on 9/19 in a fight I gave him the idea to take on twitter vs Juan Carlos Abreu

He should fight Thurman. I’d like to see how he would fair again, against another top caliber WW.

No he did not deserve the win against Porter. Ugas is a decent fighter with no power. He will never beat the top of the division. Hell, he won't even last more the 5-6 rounds vs. Ortiz or Boots Ennis.

If you honestly believe that Manny wants to fight Crawford under any circumstances, then I have some nice beachfront property in Wyoming for sale. Manny will fight Spence and Porter on the same night before he steps in with Bud. One of the reasons he left Top Rank is because Bob kept trying to cajole him into fighting Bud. Holding the regular (Read: FAKE) version of a belt is no guarantee the sanctioning body will force a champ to face his mandatory. Did the WBC force Canelo to fight Charlo? Has the WBA forced Lomachenko to face Tank Davis? The WBA never forced GGG to fight Jacobs. Golovkin was trying to fight Danny and Kid Chocolate for years. If anything, Jacobs had to be enticed to fight GGG with more money from the promoters. Don't kid yourself.

This is the least boring of the Cuban fighters but boring nonetheless still a bit boring. He fought well but was almost KOed a couple of times in the fight, specially in the last seconds. If that would have heppenned a minute before, it was lights out vs a tough guy but who was not in the top 10 rankings. Vergil Ortiz demolishes him...

These regular and franchise belts are very annoying........ Respect to Ugas though for being a world class fighter.
