Some fighters can fight for year after year and seem unaffected but other fighters like Alexander get damaged and are finished quite young.

Nobody cares about devon alexander anymore the guy was a flash in the pan with a boring style. HBO tried so badly to hype this guy up LOL. I will definitely not miss him squealing like a stuck pig everytime he flicked his jab out.

I'm one of the first to defend fighters in their 30s and 40s lately but you've nailed it here.

Devon was boring and just another boxer HBO tried to force feed down fans throats. Same reason I largely don't like Canelo, don't force fighters down fans throats. Natural stars will rise naturally, manufactured hype jobs will get disdain from me.

I wish him the best but I'll miss his fights, I thank him for allowing me to discover / jump on the Bradley Tribe war wagon back in the day, but similar to Ward, I don't care to watch Devon fight. Just not appealing.

Devon probably going to that Impact Network or something with Austin Trout I doubt any of the Major Promotions gave him a 3 Fight Deal at this point in his career

If he's not looking to do some gatekeeping idk who I wanna see him fight really. I've never been much of a Devon fan doe. I suppose he could become some sorta poor & less entertaining mans Mayorga & fight name guys after a L when they are looking to restart a win streak but honestly idk how viable that is since he's not very popular, fun to watch or at the top of his game anymore. I suspect he'll be forced into a gatekeeper role even if he seems opposed to it currently.
