The cherry pick was the first fight. The rematch was considered to be a formality by many, owing to the heavy knockdown in the 12 round.

Fury was a near-perfect example of a cherry pick gone wrong, given how he looked prior to the first fight. He was brought in to be someone who could be sold to give some legitimacy to Wilder's weak resume.

For Fury to have gone 12 rounds given the state he was in when the first fight was made is pretty remarkable.

They did think he wasn't 100% so the first fight can be argued as a cherry pick, but you DKSAB if you thought he was somehow not good enough to box circles around very limited Wilder. Fury was moving well, and looked good in ALL of his comeback, ring rust fights. LMAO at you and everyone else who watched the Pianeta and Schwarz fights and thought Wilder would handle him. The minute Furys return was offical I knew it was a wrap for both Wilder and AJs chances.

Deontay's bicep injury, makes Tyson's hollow victory even more trash. Tyson could not legitimately stop a one-handed Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder with the use of su****ious gloves and multiple fouls throughout the rematch, which include : palm-striking, rabbit-punches, holding and hitting, wrestling, choke-holds, tripping -- which lead to multiple warnings and a point deduction.

The facts are constantly reminding the 'Fury-Faithful' that Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder was never beat fair and square, take that empty win if it makes you feel good. However, those of us that demand fair play and honor, do not recognize this Gypsy-Bum as real champion.

First L's in boxing are often a mfer for guys who've had long undefeated runs so you could be right. That first 1 in the loss column has fooked up more boxers careers than drugs or gold diggers.

That said Team Wilder needs to stfu with all this "my neck, my back, my booty & my crack" constant injury report bs. Either you fight or you don't. You win or you don't. And I get it most cats don't go in the ring at 100% or even near it sometimes, but you can't keep talking about all the alleged reasons you lost as much as they are without looking like dipsh^ts after awhile.

Exactly, in any sport guys aren't 100% often but it's an unwritten rule that you either play or don't and if you do, no excuses win or lose, excuses after the fact is petty.

He should have been more aggressive. But fury was the most aggressive in the fight and Wilder didn't get the chance to set up his punches. Wilder can definitely win the fight because of his power but he has two fights on his hands, the biggest fight is in his own mind and then Fury. If Wilder can't win the mental battle he's already lost and then Fury will finish him off.

Haymon has decided to not enforce the rematch.

This is because Haymon is optimistic for the Ruiz Arreola winner which he will then match with Wilder while PBC see how Fury, AJ and the others do here forward. Haymon could even try to make a deal with the WBC to postpone the immediate rematch clause and reconfigure the Wilder Fury contract. Not that the WBC has any power of that, but more so a favor for future ranking. I doubt Fury will be interested, and Top Rank will readjust splits, so the Wilder trilogy might not happen soon as expected.

Fury wasn't even a cherry pick the first time, he was the most legitimate fighter Wilder could have taken on outside of Joshua (who he campaigned heavily for). Let me guess, he should fought that bum Whyte who just got wiped out by a 40 year old??? Go on, convince me that Whyte was a better fight to aim for than Fury. Who would of been a bigger scalp than Fury?

There second fight wasn't a formality either. It was a poorly judged draw and was under no contractual obligation. Fury even left for Top Rank prior to the initial negotiations for the rematch, which was meant to take place in early-mid 2019.

Do you even know what cherry pick means you clown? Fury was already back fighting by the time the Wilder fight was announced. He only lost his initial titles due to getting popped and then took a hiatus. He was still largely considered the most talented guy in the division. The way so many of you muppets try and rewrite established history thats only about 2 years old.

Wilder is pretty low hanging fruit at this point. So I will just say during the fight I noticed Wilder pawing at his arm or doing something strange with it. Actually I looked up the RBR thread and one of my first comments I found in the RBR fight thread I commented:

I saw that too. He couldn't move the right freely throughout the fight. If he really was hurt before the fight, i give him lot of respect for not pulling out of the fight last minute.
