Ruiz seemed more of a legit all rounder who beat a prepared Joshua then pissed away the rematch with ****** behaviour while Douglas is considered a Cinderella story colliding with a disintegration of discipline and implosion in young Tyson.

Bigger disappointment? Buster Douglas losing to Holyfield or Ruiz losing to Joshua?

I'm going to go with Ruiz. One would have thought that he'd look at what happened with Douglas as an example of what not to do. Instead he enjoyed his fame and came in bad shape for the rematch. The only good thing for him is that he didn't get KO'd.

I don't think anyone thought, let's see if Ruiz is the real deal. A lot of people thought he'd piss away his chance, and he did.
Joshua did nothing special, all he did was adhere to the tenants of being a professional athlete 'Joshua won the fight due to his preparation'.
This is not the case all the time in boxing, but it was that night.
All Ruiz Junior needed to do was put in a better effort, and even if he lost he would of still been right there at the top.

Ruiz should have never had any reason for running it back with AJ a second time in the first place. Joshua did not take care of business in their first bout. He was overconfident, unprepared and underestimated Ruiz and ultimately paid a heavy cost because of it.
Holyfield was the real deal. Buster Douglas was supposed to lose to him but no one ever expected Douglas to just take a dive and lay down the way he did. I admit, that it was a huge disappointment but the loss to the undefeated Evander Holyfield didn't surprise me in the least bit.
