He did but he refuses to have a big fight and DAZN is paying him $35 mil a bout.

Ryder is not a better fight than Callum Smith.

I thought Ryder beat Smith but he’s lost to every top fighter he’s ever faced.

I don't normally agree with this guy but I got to agree this time, Canelo has taken the Floyd scam to a different level and will shink the DAZN ship...I guess they deserve it.

Ryder lost to Jack Arnfield, Nick Blackwell and Rocky Fielding.

That’s why he isn’t better than Smith.

I do think he deserved that decision. But there have been plenty of times in boxing history where someone beats someone else and isn’t better than them.

Andy Ruiz was not better than Anthony Joshua.

Corrie Saunders, Ross Purrity and Lamon Brewster werent better than Wladimir Klitschko.

Chris Byrd was not better than Vitali Klitschko.

Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCall were not better than Lennox Lewis.

On and on and on and on.

So while I believe Ryder won the fight, and probably won 8 rounds, I don’t think he’s better than Smith. If they had a rematch, I would pick Smith and I would expect him to be favored.

He is but DAZN is struggling because he won’t give them an event that’s going to get casual fans to subscribe just to see it.

That was the plan since day one and Canelo has f**ked them in that aspect.

So what? He picked decent fights and had no obligation to fight Golovkin. DAZN knows Canelo is the only one who can get subs and they sideline him. Now that's ******.

They were idiots, but not because of any overestimation.

They were just naive and clearly didn't do their homework on the boxing landscape. They should have made deals between promotional outfits as a third party, not with individual promotional outfits. They can't even consistently make fights between Matchroom and Golden Boy and both have hefty DAZN deals.

It isn't like promotional companies can't make deals with more than one broadcaster. Matchroom has DAZN and Sky while the PBC has FOX and Showtime.

DAZN should have deals with the PBC and TR as well, then these fights might be easier to make.

They were completely ignorant to how big fights are made and it's costing them.

I’m just pointing out that every other boxing superstar in the history of the sport signed a giant network contract and followed it up with a super fight soon afterwards.
