Chris Byrd is the best Wladimir,`s win, of course. IBF champ, whose best win was old Holyfield. Byrd was better than all guys today, except Tyson Fury.

Rahman is another win. Rahman beat Lennox, lol.

I don`t know why you guys disagree with OP. he stated correctly. Isn`t that the truth that Povetkin and Pulev are still top 10 guys and Klitschko gave them first defeat?

Fury would 100% beat all of them, Wilder would probably splatter them, and Usyk would probably take them all to school as well.

Joshua on his best night also stands a very good chance.

I forgot about Byrd, that was a good win.

I mean right now Wlad still has a fight for anyone in the division.

I favor the kids, Fury, Josh, Wilder, but I wouldn't be shocked is old man Klitschko walloped anyone of them into last decade.

However, you've made a case for Wlad being much better than our current champs not so much a case for his era being any better. Povetkin was made a mando off of Chambers then avoided Wlad for a decade. Chris Byrd was young in the 90s, not 06. Mormeck happened....****ing Mormeck. Peter is still boxing and getting his ass handed to him all the time by young no bodies.

My point is every era has good old men, and old men that really can't contend with the kids anymore.

Every era has top ten HWs whose resume in retrospect are weak.

Every era has a guy who cleans up champion level leftovers and b-side fighters. Povetkin was the cleaning crew in Wlad's era too. the majority of his resume is leftovers. Wlad's leftovers, Wilder's, Joshua's, Povetkin likes to hold rank by fighting the guys who got their asses handed to them by the champion.

Wlad's probably better than Fury/Joshua in his prime. I don't think the 05-2015 decade was all that special though. I watched the **** out of it. Boxing may not have been more popular in the mainstream, or maybe it was, I dunno, but, back when Wlad was champion we had the video trading block here, ***** was active all over, and Simbros and Tonezz had their own archives. Point being if you missed any fights then it wasn't because you didn't hear about it or could afford it, it's because yer lazy. from 05-15 you could get just about any boxing fight easy enough, most of them stream-able and absolutely nothing illegal on your part. We all should have seen a ****load of that era. Just like today, mostly a bunch of fat *******s, old men, and CWs who think they're special. It's not like watching the 90s or 80s or 70s when just about everyone is in shape and boxes decently.

Prime Wlad beats everybody in this ERA for sure and Vitali probably stops them ALL!

This current ERA is a entertaining ERA don't get me wrong I enjoy watching Fury, Wilder and AJ...but they're all overrated as F^CK by their Man Fans on Social Media and on this Forum

I think they're more or less equal in terms of talent, but this era is a lot more entertaining.

                  Fury would beat 'prime' Wlad.

With Manny Steward as his Trainer? I don't think so personally BUT I do think Fury style would still give a Prime Wlad problems but I think he would win

No way, Wlad's win against Haye is good, but I dont even consider the fight vs Povetkin as anything. That was one of the worst fight i've ever seen, and I've seen most Klitschko fights. Wlad is an amazing champion, but his division was horrible outside Haye and Povetkin. By 2005/2006 the heavy talents had faded and they are resurgent now.
