As well he should be! Too many belts force you into too many fights no one wants to see! Just look at the WBO trying to force Ramirez vs. Catterall! Nobody wants that!

Take away the DAZN money and Edward is a shiiitty promoter. And he got that money bcos a cashcow dropped on his lap. Bazza’s better than his son.
So how did AJ win 3 world HW title belts in less than 20 fights?

Eddie Hearn must have his head buried up his ass because obviously, he hasn't heard the memo. Tyson Fury will not be challenging Anthony Joshua anytime soon until AJ faces his mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev first or unless he relinquishes his IBF title.

Secondly, how many times does Bob Arum has to say it at this point? If there is no live gate, then there would be no fight.

Old man Arum has made it abundantly clear that he doesn't like to host Pay Per View events before an empty arena. He is not willing to sacrifice any revenue streams because he wants to maximize his profits.

And in the HW division, fights that nobody wants can have surprising outcomes.

Remember when Hearns offered Wilder a flat fee for undisputed but gladly agreed to terms on a 50/50 split for Fury?

Hearn was responding to a challenge from Fury to fight him in December. And if you listen to the interview, he says that AJ will relinquish belts, if need be.

That would be ****** of AJ to cash himself out for one fight by relinquishing any of his title belts and secondly, it's not Tyson Fury's call to make. It's Bob Arum's. He is the man in charge. Tyson Fury has a boss and he fights when his boss Bob Arum tells when it's ok for him to fight and not before.

Nonsense. Fury fought in the WWE, which had nothing to do with Arum. He's too big a star to be ordered around by a promoter.

That's true, but it's not good enough (or frequent enough) to make us pay for them!
