Fury was out of boxing for a spell with mental issues - or did u forget? Wlad and Aj fought each other...and then AJ unlike Wilder, fought several undefeated top 10 Hws in Whyte, Parker, Breazele, and one-loss Povetkin!! Aj also offered Ortiz a fight, which he stated He wanted but his management team(Pbc) turned down.

Arreola eats a lot of punches but I don't think Andy Ruiz have that kind punching power to seriously threaten or hurt Cris Arreola. It should be a fun fight to watch though.
Will b one-sided and over in a few rds! Would have been “fun to watch” when Arreola was in his prime - about ELEVEN yrs ago!!

Ortiz has a terrible resume but I don’t see Kownacki getting by him he would just try and slide into a title fight without fighting anyone who’s favored over him . Kownacki was knocked out no one is going to be thinking Ortiz needs to do the same to redeem himself .

Helenius has poor defense ,Washington also beat him but he’s long and athletic, Kownacki beat Washington but he’s not a real top 10 guy and never was , in the end Helenius got beat by a guy not at top level so the Washington fight he won is misleading I think . I don’t see Helenius getting far at all if he fights guys like Martin he would lose as well but that would be a good match .
Agree, Helenius vs. Martin would be a good match!

LOL, is the ring even designed to hold that much weight bouncing around? I can already see the headlines and promotions. One tried and failed the other succeeded but failed to defend. Which "Mexican" has the right to claim the title of true Mexican HW champ? Ruiz/Arreola only on PPV.

You really think this is the best guy they could find who was willing to step to Ortiz? This absolute nobody?

You really think no one wants a piece of Ortiz. Ortiz being someone who has a name and is massively over the hill and clearly capable of being KTFO?

Dude, you need to wake up. Haymon wants Ortiz nowhere near anyone who can spark him out because he is the only thing giving Wilder’s resume any form of legitimacy. As long as Haymon has ANY plans for capitalising on his investment in Wilder, Ortiz will be continuing to knock out an increasingly pathetic succession of bums.

Later, Hearn offered Ortiz $7million to fight AJ and Ortiz turned it down.
Yeah, right; Of course he did. After he signed with the PBC to fight Deontay Wilder and became AJ's mandatory challenger for his WBA title. However, that offer came too late.

I doubt that very much as I won’t be watching this fight!

Not everyone should just get in there with a legit opponent especially after being brutally knocked out!

                    That’s my point!

They actually wanted Ortiz to fight Whyte as his third fight but he declined and insult to injury killed his own mandatory spot to fight AJ by fighting Wilder . Ha
Well how long did Matchroom expect Luis Ortiz to wait around for his title shot? He signed with Matchroom in Oct 2016 and didn't receive an offer to fight AJ until April of 2019; After he fought Deontay Wilder. That's approximately 2 and a half years.
