Gervonta Davis should have fought Vasyl Lomachenko 2 years ago.
Instead he, or Mayweather waited to see *****s in his armor. Lomachenko was dropped by Jorge Linares, had his face marked up, and swollen by Jose Pedraza, and taken the distance by Luke Campbell. He's also got a difficult fight coming up with Teofimo Lopez. Now they want the fight thinking that he's showing signs of slowing down/aging. If Lomachenko beats Lopez, and I think he will then Davis might have a real fight on his hands. Davis has wicked punching power, and sparring partners say he's a better boxer than they had given him credit for. Remember Lomachencko can box, and has good power also. If age isn't catching up to Lomachenko yet this will be an epic battle. But if Lomachenko is aging, Lopez might knock him out before Davis gets a chance to fight him. Like I said I think Lomanchenko beats Lopez, and possibly Davis too. Although If Lopez, or Davis drop Lomachenko, I don't think he'll be able to survive these punchers.

[QUOTE=BoxingIsGreat;20740327]These are the best fighters at/around 130 and 135: Davis, Lopez, Shakur, Lomachenko, Haney, Garcia, JoJo. At least the ones with a name. I don't see anyone Davis has avoided or is avoiding.

Lomachenko? As Davis says, promotional divide is preventing it.

Wait him out until he is out of his prime....and then fight him in 2022. Don't fight the best at their best. Fight the best when they are past their prime so you maybe have a chance of winning. Pathetic!

          Short Fat Guy...You're a F^cking Hypocrite!

So let me get this right...Haney is "Baby Clout" but you want to fight Ryan Garcia?

Yeah F^CK YOU! I like Tank by the way, I do think he can being Boxing's Next Big Star because he is exciting, he connects with a younger different demo and the most important fact is that he is connected to Mayweather which automatically draws more eyes and ears.

With that being said, people want to see him vs Loma but to brush that off until 2022 but want to fight a GREEN Ryan Garcia who might or might not beat Luke Campbell that looks SO BAD!

He kinda exposed the Plan to build him into a PPV Star, he is going to match up with all Mexican or of Mexican Decent Fighters to try and build himself into a PPV Star/Draw very similar to what Mayweather did.

Leo Santa Cruz, Abner Mares, Ryan Garcia, the winner of Berchelt vs Valdez, JoJo Diaz these are going to be Tank Potential Opponents for the Foreseeable Future and honestly that is not a bad list at all but be honest about it and say that you're fighting Latin Fighters to build up your Profile as a PPV Draw and you will fight those other guys in the future once you have built yourself up into a Viable PPV Star

I've posted before they're waiting for Loma to get Old and this kinda confirms it. Loma would be 34 in 2022, now based on his style I personally don't think Loma will slow down nor will his skills diminish much by 2022 especially with talks that he plan to go back down after the Teofimo fight

He has a good list to select from in the meantime.
Lomachenko...Per Floyd “ Tank aint ready for Loma yet”! Translation- we don’t want anything to do with Loma until he is FORTY!!! Promotional divide??? What BS with Fury and Wilder fighting for the 3rd time!! Gimpy Old Gamboa, Past it Pillow-fisted LSC, and then old shop-worn blind in one eye Abner Mares!! Line up any old smaller light punching Hispanic fighters with a “Name” for Davis....Pbc gotta pad that record and protect that 0!! Davis the coward will just continue to take the path of least resistance and let Loma and the young guns with balls fight each other!

Davis blatantly ducking the best....and won’t b a Ppv star cherry-picking the likes of Lsc,Mares, or Diaz - who will all b huge betting underdogs with literally nobody giving them a chance against Davis! Most boxing fans I know wouldn’t pay $5 to see Davis in mismatches against old past it pillow-fisted Lsc or Mares. Floyd fought a lot of named Hispanic fighters - but most of them were in their primes and had decent/good power.....Maidana, Ortiz, Guerrero, Castillo, Corrales, De La Hoya, Cotto.

Shameful that boxers don't fight the best they can. It's all about cherry picking fights and keeping an undefeated record against lesser opponents. Weak! Lol Davis ain’t fighting Loma till he’s 80 years old

The way some people are talking on here you would think Davis owes Loma a fight. Does Berchelt owe him a fight too? I know Berchelt is a nobody. But why aren't all these fighters and their promoters sending offers to see if Davis and team reject them?

He can fight whomever he wants whenever he wants. He's in the driver's seat both at 130 and 135, money wise. He also doesn't seem to care much about these fake belts. Nothing obligates him to these fighters. He's charting his own way.

                    Why so angry?
