That's what i'm thinking! They hope he loses to Lomachenko!

Teofimo Lopez: Gervonta Davis Has No Discipline; It's Catching Up To Him

“The only problem with Gervonta Davis is his discipline,” Lopez told BoxingScene.com. “He has no discipline. That’s what wins us fights. Obviously, it’s catching up to him. Because with Gamboa, someone that was injured from the second round on, he couldn’t do anything to him until the last round, the 12th round. It’s catching up to him, little by little. They’re putting him with guys that they have 100-percent confidence that he’ll beat, but yet he had a difficult time with someone like [Gamboa].

“Maybe he just had a bad night, but he was overweight at 135, going up in weight for the first time. And it’s a five-pound difference [from the junior lightweight division]. It’s not a four-pound difference, like when you go up from 126 to 130. It’s five pounds. You can’t even make that, you’ve got a problem. That’s a big problem. You know, that’s a big, big problem. Things like that don’t look good on your resume.”

Teofimo Lopez is much more concerned with his own fight versus Vasiliy Lomachenko, but he did take notice of Gervonta Davis’ lightweight debut. Davis initially

Teofimo Lopez and Rolando Romero clown ‘pregnant’ Gervonta Davis

“Yo Tank, if you watching this, why you so ****in’ fat, bro?” Lopez asked. “Why you get so ****in’ fat? Like, I know food is life and **** but you don’t gotta get that ****in’ fat, you know what I mean?

“Tank won’t make the weight for the Leo Santa Cruz fight. I bet you my world title,” Lopez threw in for good measure.

Likely, where does he go if he loses or gets face planted by a rising prospect who just got to contender status this year?

Luke needs to focus on the task at hand, be careful of that left hook an if Ryan starts teeing off then don’t back straight out just time him, an keep his back on the ropes as long as possible!

Obviously boxing needs Garcia to win but I like the underdog to get his day and it would be a great lesson for Ryan to humble him a bit!

what the haters dislike the most about tank is that hes headlining shows and selling tickets....hes selling 12k in tickets in multiple cities...hes about to headline a ppv at an age where, most of the p4p fighers, were still fighting nobodies or even still fighting in the amatuers....

at 25, the overwhelming majority of the top fighters in the world today, were still fighting scrubs....but you hate him because hes affiliated with floyd and haymon...you hate that he was the chief support to a huge floyd ppv....that hes getting a big push...

he has plenty of time to start building a solid resume.....i say it time and time again...who was loma fighting at 25? how about golovkin? how about bud? how about spence? beterbiev? usyk? ....yet all i get is "buh buh but"......the people are pissed that his kid already had a major buzz at a time when most of his peers were still fighting scrubs....

tank has plenty of time to build a resume...his resume building starts now....

but because hes affliated with floyd and haymon...and is being pushed hard by a network....you hate.....but you cheered when golovkin was being shoved down peoples throats beating C level guys like curtis stevens(who legit lost to D level club fighters in primera and brinkley).....who was bud fighting at 25-26? loma was still fighting guys in headgear....dont even get me started about who golovkin was fighting(thats where the "buh buh but" comes in "oh golovkin had promotional issues wahhhhh")...how about usyk? who was he fighting at 27?

but youll hate on tank because hes ahead of the curve as far as building a profile and getting himself known and out there...building a brand....

you made the distinction that tanks experience and skill has only gotten better. you never said anything about lopez's expericne and skill. you said they both have gotten older and are more mature but then you made the distinction that tank has gotten better while leaving out lopez. good try though!
Exactly, I gave my opinion, of which I am entitled. You STILL highlighted exactly what you claim I didn't say. Nice try though! 😉

Again, as I stated, there is a lot of talk but NOWHERE does it say I want to fight you. Remember I even mentioned Teo talking trash but no mention of a fight. I like your effort though Champ!

Shakur is another one. This guy has a huge potential if he stays clear. Being sold on him by the day. He'll end up at welter eventually. Davis looked very small next to him in the gym.

By the way, I don't agree with Gervonta calling Teo a garbage fighter. I'm a fan of Lopez too. This is a fight that can happen soon.
