I think the fact that he can still compete with these era's HW shows me he isn't shot. He has fought H.fury, AJ, Price, Hunter, Whyte in his last FIVE fights, thats better than anyone some of these *Top 5* guys at HW has done. Credit where its due, but he had the balls to get in there with Whyte, Whilst some tried everything to segway that bum.

It just so happens than an old and shot Povetkin was still good enough to put a bum like Whyte to sleep.

Well he's getting outboxed now. Before koing you like wilder does.
I'm sure if povetkin was younger he'd outbox whyt e and then ko him.

People need to stop acting like he isn't more like.

The guys 41 and for the first four rounds he didn't even have his legs under him ffs.

He's completely lost his explosiveness, his legs are virtually gone as is his chin & catching a second/third tier very vulnerable Whyte who gets hurt every other fight doesn't change that.

He’s old and shot to ****. If you disagree, then you clearly never saw him fight before the Joshua fight.

He is a good technical fighter that stays composed. Whyte was beating him to the punch even when he knew what he wanted to do. Whyte reflexes were evident on the fight with the knockdowns while Povetkin was trying to land in the inside.

A solid fighter that is on the decline and it shows

Forty is very old and very far past prime for all boxers. some forty year old boxers may still be good at 40 but still they are not nearly as good as when they were 27. It's natural ageing and no athlete escapes it. It is not obvious Whyte is not good enough to beat Povetkin. He looked like a sure thing to win by KO before he got KOed and if there is a rematch I think Whyte will be the betting favorite. I think Povetkin beat Hunter and he can still beat most heavyweights just like 40 year old Ortiz can still beat most heavyweights but they are too far past prime to beat the best younger boxers.

whytes just not all that, its fact, he got taken out by a old dog...but its true of course that it was against the grain, and he should handle him in the rematch.

bear no bones, this was supposed to be an easy win for him. He messed up but Pov is no pushover. He was one of the few genuine contenders in wlads run.
