All I could say to you, and any Margarito fan, is that rather than argue I want you to expand the terminology. Any time a fighter does not sign a deal to fight a boxer someone wants him to fight- he is ducking them. We are under the false assumption that, because of a few vocal Margarito fans that Mayweather would be proving something by fighting Antonio right now. I feel that, even if Margarito is good, he is being blow out of proportion. Just because Mayweather does not value Margarito as a tough fight, or they feel there is more money to be made fighting Baldomir, does not in itself mean he is ducking him. It means he is choosing not to fight him. If it's the same thing...than every boxer ducks opponents.

man i have been following Williams career, he is a great fighter, and he gets compared to thomas hearns because of his style and height,,etc...he will whoop mitchel's butt badly, then margarito next

Baldy deserves the fight and the payday with Floyd more than Margarito does. He really has earned it- he beat two big names this year and now he's getting his just due. I'm really not upset that he is Floyd's next opponent, it's a legit fight and it's actually going to mean something for the winner. I believe that Floyd will win and if he does- I REALLY look forward to him fighting anyone from mosley to ODLH to margarito or winky. ****- hatton or cotto too. the list of next opponents is too stacked- his first fight in 2007 is going to be the ****. and if he doesn't fight someone thats a big name. then he loses his p4p status to me.

but i agree that margarito shouldn't be so hellbent on floyd and focus on getting some better wins.

its true that margarito hasnt fought anyone spectacular yet so if he fights and cooks up a win over a very good fighter or two then he deserves to fight PBF IMO

He can beat one guy if the mutha****as weren't scared of him and would give him a fight. Rivera, Ouma, Collazo, they've all recently had fights and aren't ready to sign another contract just yet and you're saying they're willing to fight him, when? Next year? Margartio can't get a decent fight because he is being ducked. So the only thing he can really do right now is fight bums who actually have more heart and less fear then the champs and beat them up and just add to his resume. That way in a year, his resume will be improved and can fight big names, that is, if they don't duck him. For now all he can do is add to his numbers. And I'll say all Margarito is is just hype when a big name fighter actually beats him instead of saying that they can.

its played out....i AGREE..BUT fact is he ducked him to fight Cinderella Man..for less money..and i understand and respect that Baldi is the "ring" champ...but he was the "ring" champ when Floyd took the fight with Zab but NOBODY including Floyd would give him credit for that..he fought Zab Judah for MONEY ,period. A big PPV...but guess what folks he aint gonna make as much against Baldi as he would against Margarito.......So now its not about money?? all of a sudden its about being the "ring" champ..GARBAGE.
