      Its not even that Margarito has fans, its that PBF has haters. Almost nobody who is screaming that Margarito is great even heard of him before he put Floyd's name in his mouth. PBF is going to beat Baldomir in Now for the legit Welterweight title, Spinks in Feb for another legit title then DLH for his big payday. Meanwhile, Margarito will have lost by next May because he will have had to fight somebody by then and nobody will even be saying his name.

          Fellas....

          Get off PBF
          He has at least 2-7 years left
          He will fight your guys
          He has a lot of fights left in him
          The dude isn't scared of anyone
          Especially Margarito, who IMO woldn't get past Corales at a catch weight

              Allow me to repost my thoughts on the subject for the last time;

              In the end when it comes to this subject in general it's all speculation, we don't know what offers were made, to whom & for what reason. Maybe like some people think Arum decided to make this offer knowing Mayweather wouldn't fight on his terms, maybe it was a ploy to Hype up his new no.1 guy off the name of his old no.1 guy. Maybe like others believe this was a legitimate offer & Floyd didn't want to take the risk cause he felt he was a serious threat. But to try to pass off speculation as fact is simply ignorant, so let me hit you off with some facts;

              1) Mayweather is the undefeated #1 p4p boxer in the world, as such he's popularity is higher then almost any other fighter, & will most likely be one of the biggest names in boxing once Mosley & DLH retire.

              2)Regardless of your opinion of Margarito, The most lucrative fight at 147 is against Baldomirat this point.

              3) Regardless of your opinion of Spinks, he's the linear Champ at 154 and the most lucrative in that weight

              4)No one who not a hardcore boxing fan has a clue who Margarito is

              So where does that leave Margarito, waiting for a fight that very few people involved seem to be honestly interested in, & since he seems to just do what ever Arum says he gonna turn around and not fight a worthy opponent like so many are claiming Mayweather's doing.These are the facts take'em or leave'em

                I agree with that.
                A lot of casual boxing fans do not know Margarito. Zab Judah is still a bigger name and draw as far as pay per view.
