Floyd Mayweather is officially ducking Margarito! Read This

"There has been much speculation over the past few months as to whom Mayweather would fight next. As displayed throughout his illustrious career, Mayweather wanted the riskiest, most meaningful, and most deserving challenger in November and all signs pointed to the rugged Baldomir." - Boxing Scene's article, "Mayweather-Baldomir on HBO PPV"

At first I agreed with the Mayweather fans and thought, "Well he's not scared of him, he's just setting up a bigger money fight with De La Hoya." And an article even said that he's not going to risk losing because then it would damage his chances of a superfight with De La Hoya. Then I thought, "Well then if he's scared to lose to Margarito, then he's scared of Margarito." Then I realized that he says he can beat anyone out there, "why not beat Margarito and kill any doubts people have of you." Then it hit me, "He's scared of Margarito." Then reading Boxing Scene's article "Mayweather-Baldomir HBO PPV," I came across the words, "Mayweather wanted the riskiest, most meaningful, and most deserving challenger in November and all signs pointed to the rugged Baldomir." My ASS! The most riskiest would be Margarito, since everyone says he is the one who could beat Mayweather, the most meaningful is Margarito to seal the fact that he is not scared of anyone and can beat anyone and to insure that he is the best, and the most deserving is Margarito who has had a nice carrer beating people up and wants and deserves a shot at the title. I am not a big fan of Margarito's and certainly not a fan of Mayweathers, but everything says that Mayweather is ducking Margarito.

All I could say to you, and any Margarito fan, is that rather than argue I want you to expand the terminology. Any time a fighter does not sign a deal to fight a boxer someone wants him to fight- he is ducking them. We are under the false assumption that, because of a few vocal Margarito fans that Mayweather would be proving something by fighting Antonio right now. I feel that, even if Margarito is good, he is being blow out of proportion. Just because Mayweather does not value Margarito as a tough fight, or they feel there is more money to be made fighting Baldomir, does not in itself mean he is ducking him. It means he is choosing not to fight him. If it's the same thing...than every boxer ducks opponents.

It might not be the "riskiest" as you so point out.... but what were the other categories? Most meaningful or most deserving..... those both would be Baldomir.

        So that's Baldomir: 2 Margarito: 1

Simple, logical way to look at the statement that was made.

What he said. And Njord, throw in the fact that boxing experts believe that Margarito can beat Mayweather, there is more money fighting Margarito, and that a win would Solidify Mayweather's career, then you've got a fighter who has a golden opportunity and goes for the little kid on the block, then you've got a fighter who is ducking another fighter. In this case, Mayweather ducking Margarito.

Margarito is most meaningful. Even if he's not the most deserving. So really its Margartio 2, Baldy 1.

Of course Mayweather ducked Margarito. But as long as Margarito keeps winning thats all i care about, i know mayweather will keep winning because he's fighting the right opponets. And it will be a glorious ending when Margarito finally fights Mayweather and ko's him.

To me its this simple. You cant say that anyone is scared of you if you havent beaten anyone. Why cant Margarito fans get this? Margarito is the "only" guy in the sport with a big name and "NO" significant wins. He is the only one.

If you really think about it, there has been no go ever in the history of boxing or any sport for that matter who has gotten so much hype for doing so little in his career. You could understand if he was a prospect but he's been around for years.

Tell me Floyd is scared of Winky, Shane, Oscar, Hatton, Spinks, or whoever because all of those guys have done something. It could be a legitimate argument then but you cant argue that someone is scared of Margarito with his ****ty resume. He has by far the worst resume of anyone in history in any sport to get this much hype. By far the worse.

Ill say it again and I want all the Margarito fans to listen. How come he cant do just like Floyd said and beat "ONE" guy? Is that so much to ask? If he even beat one fighter then this could be legitimate but please?

Now since this Floyd thing there have been a bunch of great fighters who said they will fight Margarito but again he is leading towards Clottey who everyone just saw look like complete **** on HBO and is no threat to him at all. You cant just jump from garbage straight to Floyd and he doesnt have a real belt.

He isnt ranked as one of the top 2 guys in WW by the ring, he only has a belt because it was vacant and didnt beat the champ, he just lost to a average fighter 2 fights ago, and he has no big wins. Never has there been this much hype over such a guy.

He might be the ****. He might be the baddest Motha ****a to ever live but you have to prove that **** and you dont do it by fighting Cintron & Clottey when you have guys like Rivera, Ouma, Callazo, and others willing to fight him. If you cant get the #1 guy in the ring then you put pressure on him by killing all the other guys leading up to him. If he beats one of these guys then he shuts Floyd up and puts pressure on Floyd to fight him.

Again, soon the people will turn on Margarito after Floyd fights Baldy, Spinks, Oscar, Mosley, etc.. and Margarito is still fighting guys like Clottey & Cosme Rivera. Arum sold the **** out his ass this time but people wont fall for that **** forever
