Maidana 1 and Castillo 1 were close fights. Outside of that I don’t think any strong claim can be made for a loss. I had Mayweather winning both the above mentioned fights, surprisingly I had Maidana fairing better than any fighter against him.

Mayweather had rematches against both individuals. I think this doesn’t get said enough about mayweather, he is fair and professional.

If that was wilder vs fury , the judges would have given the fights to wilder .floyd was outworked by both guys and took some good punishment .

Fact is , race plays a huge part in boxing.

To floyds credit , he adjusted and won the rematches clearly.

Imo ,i think floyd felt embarrassed after maidana 1 and wanted rematch because he felt he lost and people thought he lost ,even his own camp. I still remember vids from the after party,looked sad.

Castillo 1 was extremely close and honestly could have gone either way

Maidana 1 same thing although I think Floyd edged it

De La Hoya did better than expected but that's not the same as winning

Cotto also put up a good fight but Floyd won clearly
