The punchers glove is glove marketing, statistics dont show an advantage, the fighters pick gloves on how they feel on your hands.

Floyd had fought lots of guys in the very same glove Maidana wanted Cotto wore them and I think maybe Mosley, the bottom line is the glove is a psychological thing as well as a nice fit, if there was a clear advantage to any glove they were all be wearing them.

Maidana came away from the fight saying he now knows why Floyd was the best fighter in the world.
So why did Floyd pay extra 1.5 millions hours before the fight so that Maidana used different gloves? Because he likes to gift money? FOOL!

And Maidana came from the fight saying that Floyd was a *****, a cry baby.

Maidana was bigger, stronger and all kind of problems for that past prime version of Floyd.

Saw it coming before the fight, I knew it would be Floyd’s hardest fight in years.
True but 8 months before Floyd schooled a bigger/younger Canelo.

          Floyd underestimated him

Saw that Khan and Alexander beat him and thought easy work

Underestimated Maidana's workrate. Maidana hits hard but he has a great engine. Broner didn't expect that.

              more than being overlooked

Maidana did well in the rematch too where Floyd was definitely prepared

Youve been a peasant for so long you have no idea what it is to be a high stakes boss, they tried to cheat him so he said fck you.

1.5 mill he spends on shoes in an afternoon shopping spree, how much did he make from the fight I heard 48mill, it amazes me how dumb chronic haters are.

Maidana was a rough house brawler, sharp around the edges. He wasn't no damn boxer.

In the end, finesse and fine boxing skills prevailed as it should.

Floyd lost this fight. Too defensive like he's been hurt trying to get to end of round. Looked like he was trying to survive, rather win fight

                      Canelo is a boxer/counterpuncher.

Floyd will always be comfortable and excel vs that style even at that advanced age.

Maidana is the polar opposite to Canelo style wise, rough, physical, non stop pressure, weird angles to his punches, high output, leaning on him etc.

Was always going to be a hard fight for a 37 year old Floyd.
