Maidana doing as well as he did is a bit of a head scratcher, he should be made to order and that was obviously the thinking when they chose him as an opponent. However I think it might be because Maidana had something going into the Mayweather fight, that he didn't have against Khan or Alexander, a blue print on how to win. I appreciate Khan had a defeat at this point but landing a huge haymaker isn't really a blueprint and Maidana cannot fight the same way as Bradley either. I'm assuming he watched the Castillo fight and tried his best to emulate it.
