But that wasn’t the case , although he did take most of the late rounds , never came close to ko or even hurting Postol
I’m hoping for his sake that this was nothing more than ring rust if not he will have a long night with Taylor imo
Same here. I picked Ramirez by late stoppage.
I see people blaming his performance on the rescheduling.
Could be. But I saw Ramirez looking flat in the mid rounds.

    I got Taylor by decision.

I’d say flat throughout the fight
It’s like he couldn’t get it into second gear lol

        Ramierez should have two losses.

        He sucks.

Taylor is clearly on another level and I trashed him and Prograis after their fight because I thought it proved neither were elite.

Ramierez is a level below Taylor’s level, which is below elite.

No one is scared of the guy who should have lost to Zepada and Postol, trust me.

Taylor has been matched well his entire career. He will be ready. I would rank him in my top 10 p4p at the moment.

Pacquiao broke Postol`s nose during sparring.

            Ramirez couldn`t even hurt Potol.

Of course he did. He was flipping Postol’s neck back with hard jabs all night. It means that Postol respected his power and the reason why he fought long range. That’s Postol’s most conservative fight I’ve seen. Usually Postol throws spurt combinations when confident... that wasn’t the case. Ramirez had some nice shots all night. Postol was highly cautious and decided to just box soft while the Champion brought the fight

The reason why Ramirez is getting flamed on is because the Taylor win over Postol is being compared. Bud has nothing to do with this.

Why is there insecurity? In theory, if Taylor fans feel Ramirez is garbage then you the unification would make it easier for Taylor right? Or is the admittance that the pandemic would have affected a fighters camp? OR, if people are talking about an absent crowd, then why isn’t Ramirez being given pass for all these variables?

Are we saying all judges had it wrong? Fans still forget the golden rule in boxing that a better punch overrules the 2:1. Meaning, two lazy jabs aren’t going to override a power punch. We need to stop sweating amateur scoring.
                You are funny--

I think Taylor would ruin ramirez, as I thought Postol beat him

The good thing for Taylor is that he’s only had 16 fights and may still be getting better.

I don’t think he’s elite either but still, not many are truly elite. To do what he’s done so far in 16 fights might show he’s capable of being elite though.

Taylor believes Ramirez is an easier fight for him than Prograis was, which he might be right. We probably already seen the two best in the division when they fought. Despite who has what belts.
