There is a 0 chance that Floyd would ever got knocked the **** out like that let alone by an above average fighter. Thats a huge knock on Mannys legacy to me. Proof that while he was a great fighter, he was not on the GOAT level like Mayweather.

Because they fought four times and Marquez was a great fighter, not just some 39-year old.

Manny Pacquiao was at his best from 2008-2010. He was still great in 2012 but there was a clear dropoff, starting with the Mosley fight in 2011. Yes, Floyd did school Marquez, however styles make fights and Marquez got one shot at Mayweather, not four.

For the record, I always thought Floyd would win because of his defense and reach advantage. With that being said, Manny was extremely explosive and he actually did beat Marquez during his peak years (2008-2010). It was close but he beat him clean). For me the intrigue of the fight would have been whether Manny could speed Floyd up with his rapid fire attack. I know critics say that Floyd got an old Manny but if that's the case then Manny got an old Floyd too. Manny did have some tough fights but Floyd was inactive and that hurts you too. When I factor all that in, I think we would have seen a fight similar to what we saw in 2015 but at a faster pace. Perhaps Manny lands a few more straight lefts but Mayweather would have been even faster on his feet to control distance.

    That's just my two cents'

Only fair though, considering that's what Pacquaio had been allowed to do from about 102 lb. right up to 150 lb.

the funny stuff started with David Diaz at 135

Pac was already a HOF'er by that point

the " Marquez was ready to go " schtick... is just complete nonsense

fans who say that, are hanging their hats on something that was never going to happen... nobody has ever knocked out Marquez

apparently, Povetkin was also... " ready to go " ... but that did not prevent Dillian Whyte from getting Pacquiao'd

I have seen Marquez hurt much worse than he was in that fight

his powers of recuperation are legendary... much better than Pac's

Marquez did take his ball and run. He got offered a lot more money than he's ever been offered and couldn't even give one rematch after been gifted with 4 fights. Marquez, with steroids and all, knew he was on his way to getting stopped and he was real fortunate to have landed that hail mary of a punch. If it wasn't a fluke of a punch, he would've accepted a 5th fight, landed that punch once again, collected the money, and called it a day, but he didn't, he knew his knees were giving out due to the steroids, he knew he couldn't land that punch again, and he knew he wasn't going to win it. Instead of fighting Pacquiao again, he got taken to school to Bradley, cried at the decision as always, and showed more proof of steroid use by knocking much bigger Alvarado through one side of the ring to almost flying out of it.

you sure do blurt out a LOT of silly nonsense, don't ya... ?

JMM knocked out a sparring partner with that exact same punch in camp

the video is on youtube... and no link-boy, you can go find it yourself

and he had already knocked Pacquiao down earlier in the fight

that nonsense... is just more pac-nonsense, from the pac-tards

pacfans were never able to answer that question

nobody could explain how Manny was ever going to beat Floyd

it was so obvious that Pac was going to be stuck on the outside firing blanks

I cannot believe so many people thought Pac was going to win that fight

that fight should be named... dumb money... everyone fell for the hype

and the Pac who faced Mayweather was always going to be clean, because Mayweather was never going to relinquish his testing demands... so a younger Mayweather would have defused Pac even worse, possibly even shut him out

come on kid, we want to see how you roll

we want to watch you do the Philippino shuffle

why do YOU think Pacquiao killed a super-fight by refusing random blood tests?

that made him look guilty as hell !! ... so there must be a good reason

              name that reason kid

pacfans who have successfully answered that question since 2010:

Philippino shuffle? What is that? You seem to be inventing stuff along the way. Don't be like that. Stick to facts.

Dodging the question? Again, where did the 13lbs of muscle gain go? Stop ignoring the numbers. Be truthful.

FACT: a clean fighter does not leap THREE divisions in NINE months... and more than DOUBLE his punch output...

it takes steroids to do that... Atlas/Malignaggi/Mayweather/and all those rumors from wildcard... THEY WERE RIGHT !!

                Pac was juicing !
These aren't facts. All just claims. Regardless of your feelings against Manny, they're not based on any truth. Stop thnking with your feelings and being emotional. Be a man.

                    129 ripped --> 142 ripped = 13lbs of muscle

no need to lie... you LOST when you mentioned fight-night weight

You're assuming Manny wasn't ripped when he wasn't in training camp. Based on what?
Again stop dodging, where did those weight gains go when he was already 140 back in 2005 and 148 during the Diaz fight? Watch the numbers LOL
