Marquez easily, the difference in quality between timing a fighter of the calibre of Pacquiao and timing a scrub like Whyte says it all.

Marquez knocked out an all time great, Povetkin knocked out a loudmouth who hasn’t even won a European title yet.

How is this even a question one guy knocks out an overrated sloppy HW who hasn’t done squat in his division and another guy brutally KO’s one of the true all time greats with one shot.

      Marquez easily.

None of you has answered the question which is about "the better TECHNICAL ADJUSTMENT for the KO".

The question has nothing to do with who beat a greater fighter... The correct answer is of course "Povetkin".. Marquez took a chancy shot-(in the dark) and never even saw the punch land, as his head was going past Pacquiao's body, and he couldn't see where he was punching.

Povetkin, on he other hand, was very cool-even after the two KDs (where he got up instantly), watched his opponent very carefully, shifted to the centre and delivered the perfect punch, between his opponent's arms, watching it land all the way.

            Just my Considered Opinion.

“A chancy shot”, no, no, no. He timed Pacquiao coming in. Imagine how difficult it is to time Manny coming in with that level of speed and at the such unique angle’s he creates. That’s elite level fighting geometry being able to time a fighter like Pacquiao.

Whyte on the other hand was a stationary target, with limited reflexes.

Both great knockouts but JMM’s was undoubtedly better from a technical perspective.

Pacquiao had a 90% KO ratio from 2001-2009.

Povetkin's KO was definitely better from the point of view of technical adjustment.

Marquez didn't actually make any technical adjustments to KO Manny. He threw the same right hand counter he'd already thrown 100s of times in over 40 rounds vs Manny, only that one time, Manny misjudged his attack and literally jumped face first right onto Marquez's fist!

Povetkin had been trying to land left hooks on Whyte for 4 rounds, which Whyte was reading and blocking. In the 5th, Sasha deliberately suckered Whyte into thinking he was trying to set up another left hook by weaving in and dipping down to his left, then he altered the trajectory of his punch and turned it into a perfectly delivered uppercut, up through the middle of Whyte's guard and onto his chin.
