If I was Whyte, I wouldn`t go for a rematch.

Povetkin now knows exactly what he needs. If he beats Whyte again, Whyte is probably done at world level.

He has never fluctuate in weigh, between when he turned pro and now his weigh has been around the same. But i agree with you November is too soon. I guess the contract is watertight as usual, and Whyte really wants to get his mandatory back.

That's facts! I think he could start training in October, and may be ready to fight in late December at the earliest!

The fact that Whyte thinks was bossing Povetkin is the proof he's as dumb as he is delusional.

How Hearn slipped in a rematch clause is beyond me. Whyte isn't a champion, isn't a superstar, and the fight was an eliminator. From where I was standing, Whyte got brutally eliminated without controversy. Povetkin shouldn't be locked into having to face his ko victim again for his next fight.

Don't worry Ray, steroids help you recover quicker from things like this, I'm sure. This is most definitely rushed and it's only likely down to the fact Whyte is so desperate to have a world title shot for 2021.

I can't recall in recent times where a fighter lost his mandatory position after losing a fight to only have an instant rematch, its really an odd thing. Not something you'd think deserves a rematch clause to be in place.

For ****s sake if Whyte wins this come 2021 we'll be back at square one with him constantly yapping about how everyone is ducking him and him being hyped like hes a Fury/AJ/Wilder level name again.

It could be David Price Vs. Tony Thompson all over again

That's his job. He's White's promoter you know.

He was bossing Povetkin, he had him down twice.

Slipped in? Povetkin knew full well what he was signing. They can put whatever they want in the contract, Povetkin didn't have to sign it.

Even if he wins the rematch, nobody is going to take him too seriously after all that talk and getting flattened by a 40yo Povetkin... On your promoters ****ing backyard LMFAO! Couldn't have picked a worse way to lose, imagine he loses again...
