Then, he would have defeated an almost 41 year old aging Povetkin. He have defeated some very good fighters in his career. However, he is just not on the same level as Fury, Wilder and Joshua.

The window is now closing on his career. He doesn't have many years left in his prime and another loss or two and he would officially become gatekeeper status and that's a fact. Eddie Hearn underestimated Sasha Povetkin.

      Absolutely.

The irony is that he'd be higher rated if he fought lesser fighters.

Which is fked up on a boxing forum.

Not many guys beat Povetkin, even 41 years old.

Povetkin lost only to AJ and Klitschko.

That was not the same Povetkin who faced Klitschko 7 years ago or even Joshua 2 years ago. Did you see him against Michael Hunter?

He appeared very old, shot and weak? He was nearly knocked out by Hunter but the judges awarded him a very generous Draw.

Hunter was robbed that night. He won that fight. He hurt, rocked and out punched Povetkin for twelve rounds.

Deontay Wilder would've slept this version of Alexander Povetkin with the first big right hand he landed.

why do people judge a boxers level based on one fight only?
Whyte got knocked out with a single punch, he was otherwise in control of the fight. This is more like Lennox lewis losing to Mccall and Rahman.
Also, i dont want to know about what wilder would do, it's all hype and talk...
                      wilder hasn't done it.
