Lol at the amount of butthurt in this thread.

Fury fans said that Whyte was an average HW who would get destroyed by Fury and probably a good few others.

Whyte then proceeded to get put to sleep by a 40yr old man.

    As usual, we were right.

The reality of heavyweight boxing is anybody can knock the other out at any point in the fight. Whyte outweighed Povetkin by near 30 pounds and still got caught with a devastating punch. Example: Not too long ago the bigger percentage of people were talking about Kownacki being ready for his title shot. All of a sudden Helenius comes in and SMOKES him.... Helenius. It's really just about as much a body can take. 200 plus pounds cracking you in the face does alot of damage.

All these top 10 guys are very capable of knocking the others out on any given day with the right punch. Plain and simple

One punch knockouts, upsets, happen. PAC, Paul Williams, Hatton, Khan, these guys have literally put guys to sleep. Don’t confuse defensive mistakes from a couple fights while discrediting their complete skill set.

I think what’s happening is that the British fans made up a narrative that Wilder was ducking Whyte.

It makes no sense. It’s like saying Canelo Alvarez is ducking Tyron Zeuge. It just doesn’t make sense.

So when a 40 year old who was brought in to be a victim splattered Whyte on the canvas, people brought up how ****** the “wilder ducked Whyte” narrative was.

          That’s all.

This is just another cry thread, the TS and OP make no sense.

Whyte isn't even a gatekeeper, hes at the top of British talent maybe, world class hes not at the top.

Don't understand what any of what happened this weekend has to do with "fans" of Wilder or Fury. I think Whyte vs Wilder is a pick em fight. Fury dominates everyone in history. Povetkin is an even better fight for both of them.

Why do Joshua fans think running around terrified in an oversized ring "avenges" your loss to an obese unranked Mexican blob who made you quit?

Whyte gets knocked down and hurt in pretty much every fight he has, this wasn't a one off.

Like I say, he's a B grade HW, just like Povetkin, Ortiz, Parker and all those guys.

Fury is the truly elite fighter in the division, and the majority of people on this board agrees with me.

Fury might be the best... but at some point he's going to have to defend a title for a while and prove it.

The reality is that Fury had a great win 5 years, two retirements and a drugs ban ago. He then came back and was ranked on the basis of a draw against a guy (Wilder) who picked up a cheap title and then avoided anyone meaningful.

Those two fighters got ranked 1 and 2 in the World from Joshua losing, and then avenging a defeat. How the hell is that the case? Joshua holding three belts that he unified with an unmatched resume in the division and more top 10 wins than the other two put together got ranked as 3? Nah, that's mongs playing the undefeated hype.

That meant, in many people's eyes, that they contested for the lineal title. Not to me they didn't.

We need to see a concensus 1 and 2 fight. They were never that, just ranked that way by some organisations. They were never a clear one and two.

If Fury fights and beats Joshua then I'll call him Lineal. He will have beaten both rivals at the top and every possible line will go through him.

                  Until then it's vacant.
