Canelo vs Avni is such a terrible fight, in no universe at any point in time of Canelo's or Avni's careers is this fight even acceptable to make. Never ever ever. Suck ass fight. #FAX

But the answer to your question is yes, Derevyanchenko did make more money fighting GGG than he was offered by Canelo.
Interesting, I thought according to Coppinger, Canelo offered Chenko 5.5M and he ended up accepting 5.2M to fight Golovkin?

That’s because Haymon bends over to Floyd. Floyd is part of the PBC board with consulting and helps matchmake/consult for Al. Remember Floyd said WHEN Spence vs Bud would happen, and he was also quoted for saying “I’m the HNIC.” Floyd’s ego, and Haymon has to obey.

DAZN offered him more for the Canelo fight, but according to his manager, the overall deal he got from GGG was better:

New York - Keith Connolly, who handles Sergiy Derevyanchenko’s (13-1, 10 KO’s), has become one of boxing’s best managers over the years by simply getting his cl

In a recent IFL interview, BJS said he had it from somebody connected with Derevyanchenko that they made more than double Canelo's offer from the GGG fight.

GGG/Dervy would have been a bigger fight in Europe and Asia than in the States. It could be that's where the extra income came from.

LMAO. If Kafkod is telling the truth...though I’m usually always right anyways, then this validates what I’m saying. Again, BJS isn’t ****** enough to headline a statement about betting his GBP purse and lose without being backed in the background with some other pay. That’s common sense. This is why BJS only made the bet IF Canelo would fight IN THE UK. There could stipulations and sponsorship money or simply all BJS had/has to do is be the first one to bring Canelo overseas and he would compensated highly for it, win or lose. UK Time, ratings, Matchroom.

            Damn I’m good

Might as well just head back to DAZN and accept which ever fighter they're willing to accept and Pay For.

Hey WBC now is the time for some Corruption...just go ahead and Order Canelo vs Callum Smith for Franchise WBC 168 Champion and re-order Benavidez vs Yildirim for the Original WBC Belt they're going to make Canelo 168 Franchise anyway after he destroys Yildirim so lets just speed up the process and save us from having to waste everybody time with Canelo vs Yildirim a fight NOBODY wants to see

So what? If a guy has 2 houses and he stakes one of them on a bet, you're still going to win that house if he loses!

How money changed him had it not been for Haymon guiding his career Floyd’s 6th grade Reading comprehension would have kept him a slave to Bob Arum
