Povetkin/whyte kind of match up is what we need in boxing, a real challenge and should be encouraged.
Whyte was in a strong position for a mandatory title fight but he risked it on the line to take a dangerous fight. He could have stayed idle and wait for his shot but the man is a warrior, he wants all the big names he can get, either win or loose.
We should encourage him to encourage others instead of slamming him on the face.

Whyte was in shape and focused. He was in the lead before the KO. And he got caught with a punch setup that explored his technical flaw.

Why ***** on Whyte? He took a risk and delivered entertainment. He is not making silly excuses. If we discourage Whyte then all we get is mismatches and boring safety first fights.

Big thanks to Whyte, and good luck to him in the rematch.
    Good post x2.

That night was a win for boxing.

Even if AJ/fury gets made next week, you will still have something to complain about.

        Common Mann, cut some slacks.
Charles Martin is a delusional clown from St. Louis who never should have had a belt in the first place.

The same delusional champ your paper champ refused to fight.
            Nice try.
Its no hidden fact that when your one hand champ had the green belt over 5years ago, he never fought any other champ.
It's not a coincidence, its planned.
