Porter looked good, got in 12 good rounds, threw some hellacious shots, and looked to be in great shape. Give the opponent credit, he didn’t quit and ate all of those shots for 12 rounds. Tough opponent. He was undefeated for a reason. But I wouldn’t be rushing to get in there and fight Porter, he comes at you all night long, got to be on your A game with Porter.

HAHA ,you got me. It was just a random prediction that if it had happened would have me me look like a genius plus i was trying to give myself a reason to watch this fight (talking myself into watching it), i had honestly had never seen the guy fight before. He was tough but very ordinary in every other aspect and completely out gunned, had nothing to win him the rounds.

I have to tip my hat to Sebastian Formella. He took a real asswhooping in there against Shawn Porter last night. He was very game and tough.
Also, Porter looked absolutely sensational as well. He was able to land combinations and bounce on his feet and landed some very nice jabs too. He added a few wrinkles in his game which left me impressed.
I think after an eleven month layoff he could have used the extra rounds to stay sharp and to work on keeping himself in boxing conditioning. The one thing that stood out the most is that he is not a power puncher but a volume puncher.
I thought he was exposed a bit for his lack of power and his inability to get his man out of there. Had he settled down on his punches more; Perhaps he could have gotten the TKO stoppage because it did appear at times that Formella was ready to tap out.
However, all in all it was great performance by "Showtime" Shawn Porter.
